In their first ever strategic push at the Effie Awards, Digibrush powered their client Emerald to be crowned the Most Effective Brand of the Year, the biggest brand honour of the night.

The SLIM Effie Awards 2025 Grand Finale, held on 3rd March at Monarch Imperial, was the most competitive edition in the event’s 17year history in Sri Lanka, drawing over 300 entries - a record for the platform. Against that field, Digibrush claimed 2 of only 5 Gold awards presented on the night, finishing with a total of 19 wins across 2 Golds, 3 Silvers, 4 Bronzes, and 10 Finalists.

Digibrush Claims 2 of 5 Golds and 19 Total Wins at Effies Sri Lanka, Extending Its Digital Dominance to the Effectiveness Stage

A big night for Digibrush at the Effie Awards Sri Lanka, the industry benchmark for marketing effectiveness.

We secured 19 wins in total, including 2 of the 5 Gold awards presented on the night, accounting for 40% of the top honours in what was the most competitive edition to date.

After three consecutive years of dominating SLIM Digis with Grand Prix wins and recognition as the highest-winning agency, this marked our first focused push at the Effies, proving that the work we build in digital doesn’t just perform online, it delivers real business impact.

Our teams secured wins across multiple industry and special categories for clients including Emerald, Zesta, Daintee, Keells and Softlogic Life, showcasing effectiveness across fashion, FMCG, retail and financial services.

A special highlight was the campaign for Emerald, which played a key role in powering the brand to be recognised as the Most Effective Brand of the Year. Combined with its SLIM Digis Grand Prix win, is now arguably one of the most awarded single campaigns across multiple award platforms in Sri Lanka.
