Aruna Upul AKA ‘DJ ULTRA ’ is a versatile and dynamic DJ personality from the island of Sri Lanka. Ultra first entered the DJ scene in Colombo, Sri Lanka as a mobile DJ in 2002.
Ultra then soon progressed to the next level, when he assumed the role of Resident DJ at the trendy Mix Bar of the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo and later at the very popular ‘Library’ Club at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel Colombo. Using his vast knowledge and experience as both a Mobile and Resident Club DJ, it was in 2010 that Ultra began a new journey as a techno and minimal based artiste and DJ.
Today, with over 1000 DJ bookings and gigs under his sleeve, Ultra has evolved a distinct sound that has made him one of the most popular and in demand DJs on the island. His unique brand of music has the pulling power to draw music hungry crowds. Ultra is well known for his techno and minimal genre based, live and prepared sets. Ultra’s ability to read the crowd and identify trending sounds complemented by his very own, down to earth, humble personality, have made him a definite crowd favourite.
Ultra’s versatility extends from headlining large festivals and commercial events to powering small underground gigs and corporate functions.
Ultra has appeared alongside many global DJ industry names including Mark Knight, Sébastien Léger, Nick Warren, Jeremy Olander, Grum, Max Graham, Andrea Bertolini, Plastic Robots, Manuel De La Mare, Paul Thomas, Olivier Giacomotto, Guy Mantzur, Dmitry Molosh, Roger Martinez, Matter, Ziger, Luigi Rocca, Kolombo, Fehrplay, Ramiro Lopez, Nakadia, George Privatti, Pavel Petrov, GAGA, Mateo, The YellowHeads, Matt Sassari, D-Deck, D-Unity to name but a few. Ultra has also appeared at a number of prominent Sri Lankan music events such as Booka Booka, Area Mirissa and Fantasia 2014 - 2018. Ultra continues to be a regular guest artist on local FM radio shows including the highly rated ‘Underground Therapy’ sessions.
In 2015 Ultra launched the ‘Detroit Connection’ a Techno based record label focused on promoting underground artists and live events.

A producer who has been earning releases on prestigious labels & has been a Dj since the age of 16, K3V ’s name in the Progressive House music circle has increasingly become synonymous with, & rightly mentioned alongside the modern pioneers of the genre. K3V’s extensive catalogue behind him offers an unparalleled diversity of sounds rooted in his melodic, atmospheric & energetic lineage.

THILON JAY showed great interest in music from an early age. At that time electronic music wasn't a popular genre in Sri Lanka which he could get exposed to;
So his passion was towards commercial music. Therefore at the age of 18, he started collecting & listening to a variety of music. After completing his studies he
started exposing himself to the art of djing and with the help of some friends he started learning the art. Thilon Jay is very communicative, a person who doesn't stop moving and enjoying
learning new things, different things, put them into action, into daily life right away, and constantly discover something new. For many years he has occupied with many other activities
until the day one of his old friends introduced himself to the world of electronic music.

Being a fan of electronic music since 2010 his first performance was in a local club and he continued performing as a disk jockey till now. The Genre that he loves is strictly Progressive
House & deeper sounds. During his musical journey, he has played with many respected international artists such as Alex O'rion, Brian Cid, Pavel Petrov, D-Unity, Gaga, Mateo, Nakadia, Dmitry Molosh, Matter and more.
