මෙම මධ්‍යස්ථානය මගින් මානව හිමිකම් උල්ලංඝනය කිරීම් සම්බන්ධ පැමිණිලි සම්බන්ධයෙන් ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගැනීමත්, අවශ්‍ය නීති උපදෙස් ලබාදීමත් පහසු කරනු ඇත.

A new center has been established in Talawakelle with the aim of protecting human rights and raising awareness among the local community. 🇱🇰✨

This center will facilitate action on complaints related to human rights violations and provide essential legal guidance to those in need.

ජාත්‍යන්තර මානව හිමිකම් ආරක්ෂණ කේන්ද්‍රය විසින් පොළොන්නරුව දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂකවරයා, උප අධ්‍යක්ෂකවරයා, සම්බන්ධීකාරකවරුන් සහ සාමාජිකයින් අතර විශේෂ සාකච්ඡාවක් සංවිධානය කරමින් සාර්ථකව පැවැත්වුණි.

அதேபோல் மாவட்ட இயக்குநர், துணை இயக்குநர், செயலாளர், ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர், துணை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர், உறுப்பினர்கள் மற்றும் இளைஞர் உறுப்பினர்களின் செயற்பாட்டு பங்கேற்பும் இந்த கலந்துரையாடலுக்கு சிறப்பு மதிப்பை சேர்த்தது.

A special discussion organized by the International Human Rights Movement was successfully held, bringing together the District Director, Deputy Director, coordinators, and members of the Polonnaruwa District.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Director General Dr. Rizwan Cassim , with the participation of the Polonnaruwa District Divisional Secretary, Deputy Director of the District Hospital, Senior Superintendent of Police, and several district-level officials.

Additionally, the active participation of the District Director, Deputy Director, Secretary, coordinators, deputy coordinators, members, and youth members added significant value to the discussion.

👉 Productive exchanges of ideas were carried out regarding future actions to protect and promote the human rights of the people.

We, along with Ms. Mini Muthu, who is in charge of women's affairs from Matara District, acted on the instructions of the Director and Mr. Viswan, and together with the Thihagoda Police, took important steps regarding this incident. 👮‍♂️ The suspect has been arrested and remanded for 14 days. 🏠 We went to the house of the girl involved in the incident and discussed with her parents. She – Shalani Kaushalya (age 18) – has refused a medical examination and stated in court that no assault took place. ⚖️ With the intervention of the Police Inspector, it was suspected that this could be a statement made under pressure. 📍 Therefore, the person named Amal Dilshan (age 21) was remanded for 14 days. 📊 We were able to obtain a lot of important information regarding this incident, from her mother, Mrs. Surangi, and father, Mr. Priyantha. ➡️ Tomorrow, arrangements have been made to go to her place and investigate further. ❓ Question: Once a child turns 18, don't parents have the right to look after them? 🙏 Because we came forward, we were able to bring this situation to a legal level. ක්‍රිස්තුස් වහන්සේගේ උත්ථානය සිහිපත් කරමින් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සහ ලොව පුරා කිතුනු බැතිමත්හු ඉමහත් භක්තියෙන් පාස්කු ඉරිදා දිනය සමරති. එය බලාපොරොත්තුව, අලුත් වීම සහ දයාවේ සදාතනික බලය අපට සිහිපත් කරයි.

පාස්කු උත්සවය ආගමික අවස්ථාවක් පමණක් නොව, මනුෂ්‍යත්වය, ප්‍රේමය සහ ඉවසීම පිළිබඳව යළි මෙනෙහි කරවන උතුම් සංස්කෘතික උත්සවයකි. මරණය පරදා උත්ථානය ලැබූ ක්‍රිස්තුස් වහන්සේ, දැඩි අධිෂ්ඨානය සහ කැපවීම තිබේ නම් අඳුර පරදා ආලෝකයත්, බිය පරදා විශ්වාසයත්, වේදනාව පරදා සදාකාලික ප්‍රීතියත් ජයගත හැකි බව ලොවට පෙන්වා දුන්හ.

මෙම මොහොතේ ලොව පුරා, විශේෂයෙන් මැදපෙරදිග කලාපයේ, යුද්ධය හේතුවෙන් ජනතාව විඳින පීඩාව අපට අමතක කළ නොහැක. එබැවින් මෙම උතුම් පාස්කු උදාවේදී ලොවට සාමය, සන්සුන්භාවය සහ සහජීවනය පිරී යාම ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරමු.

ක්‍රිස්තුස් වහන්සේගේ ඉගැන්වීම් අනුව අපගේ හදවත් ප්‍රේමයෙන්, ඉවසීමෙන් සහ සමාවෙන් පුරවා, භේද බිඳ දමා එකම ශ්‍රී ලාංකික පවුලක් ලෙස ඉදිරියට යාමට අපි සියලු දෙනා එක්වමු.
දුකට පත් ජනතාවගේ ගැලවීම වෙනුවෙන් සිය ජීවිතය කැප කළ යේසුස් ක්‍රිස්තුස් වහන්සේගේ උත්ථානය සිහිපත් කරන මෙම උතුම් දිනයේ, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සහ ලෝකය පුරා සියලුම කිතුනු බැතිමතුන්ට මගේ හෘදයාංගම සුබ පැතුම් පිරිනමමි.

Commemorating the Resurrection of Christ, Christian devotees in Sri Lanka and around the world celebrate Easter Sunday with deep reverence and devotion. It is a reminder of the enduring power of hope, renewal, and compassion.

Beyond being a religious observance, Easter is also a cultural celebration that encourages reflection on humanity, love, and resilience. Through His Resurrection, having triumphed over death, Christ demonstrated to the world that with steadfast determination and dedication, darkness can be overcome by light, fear by faith, and suffering by everlasting joy. The people who rose in unity for Jesus, who sacrificed His life for them, conveyed a message of unity and goodwill to the world.

At this moment, we cannot forget that people across the world continue to endure immense suffering due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. Instead of wars driven by hostility, people everywhere yearn for peace and coexistence. On this sacred Easter dawn, I pray that the path towards peace may be illuminated.

As taught by Christ, let us fill our hearts with love, patience, and the noble virtue of forgiveness. Let us cast aside divisions and move forward together, united as children of one mother, as one Sri Lankan family. Let us join hands in brotherhood to achieve this.

On this sacred Easter Day, commemorating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, who sacrificed His life for the salvation of those in distress and overcame the darkness of death following His crucifixion, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all Christian devotees in Sri Lanka and around the world.

May you all be blessed with a joyful Easter filled with compassion and peace!

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிர்த்தெழுதலை நினைவுகூர்ந்து, இலங்கையிலும் உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் மிகுந்த பக்தியுடன் உயிர்த்த ஞாயிறு தினத்தை கொண்டாடுகின்றனர். இது நம்பிக்கை, புதிய மாற்றம் மற்றும் கருணையின் நித்திய சக்தியை நினைவூட்டுகிறது.

உயிர்த்த ஞாயிறு என்பது மத நிகழ்வினைத் தாண்டி, மனிதாபிமானம், அன்பு மற்றும் சகிப்புத்தன்மை ஆகியவற்றை நினைவுபடுத்தும் கலாச்சார பண்டிகையாகும். மரணத்தை வென்று உயிர்த்தெழுந்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, உறுதியான சங்கற்பமும் அர்ப்பணிப்பும் இருந்தால் இருளை வென்று ஒளியையும், பயத்தை வென்று நம்பிக்கையையும், வேதனையை வென்று நித்திய மகிழ்ச்சியையும் அடைய முடியும் என்பதை உலகிற்கு காட்டினார்.

இப்போது மத்திய கிழக்கில் நிலவும் போர்ச்ச சூழல் காரணமாக, உலகெங்கிலும் மக்கள் பெரும் இன்னல்களுக்கு உள்ளாகின்றனர். பகைமையை முதன்மையாகக் கொண்டு நடத்தப்படும் போருக்குப் பதிலாக, உலக மக்கள் அனைவரும் அமைதியையும் சகவாழ்வையுமே விரும்புகின்றனர். இந்த உன்னதமான உயிர்த்த ஞாயிறு தினத்தில் அமைதியை நோக்கிய பாதை வெளிப்பட வேண்டும் எனப் பிரார்த்திக்கிறேன்.

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் போதனைகளின் படி, நமது இதயங்களை அன்பு, பொறுமை மற்றும் மன்னிப்பால் நிரப்பி, ஒரே தாயின் பிள்ளைகளாகப் பேதங்களை மறந்து, இதயத்தால் ஒன்றிணைந்த ஒரே இலங்கை குடும்பமாக முன்னோக்கிச் செல்வோம். சகோதரத்துவத்துடன் கைகோர்ப்போம்.

உயிர்த்த ஞாயிறு தினத்தில் அனைத்து இலங்கை மற்றும் உலக கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கும் எனது மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகள்!
