أســـد غـــاب متى سـاورتـنـــا الفــتــن
شـــرقـنــا قـلبــــه أبـــــــداً لـــبـــنـــان
صـــانــــه ربـــــه لــمــدى الأزمـــــان

بـحــــــره بــــــره درة الــشـــرقـــــين
رفـــــــده بـــــــره مـــالـــئ القـطـبــين
أســـمـه عــــــــزه مـنـذ كــان الــجـدود
مــجـــــــــده أرزه رمـــزه لـلــخـــــلود
