At our inspiring Shine the Light event, we gathered in the collage hall, infusing it with a vibrant red glow. It was a powerful symbol of our unwavering support for those fighting sickle cell disease. 💪❤️
The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt speech by Dr. Abboud, shedding light on the challenges faced by individuals living with sickle cell disease. We were honored to have esteemed guests, the university president Dr. Fadlo khoury and the ministry of public health Dr. Firas Abyad, who shared their commitment to improving patient lives.
During the gathering, we paid tribute to Mrs. Marwa Khouzami, the president of the Sickle Cell Fund, and Mrs. Rolla Safa for their extraordinary dedication to sickle cell patients' care.🌟
Two remarkable patients bravely took the stage, sharing their personal stories and experiences with sickle cell disease. Their testimonials touched our hearts, reminding us of the resilience and strength within the sickle cell community.
As candles were lit, our community united patients, families, and honored guests, embracing a shared sense of hope and compassion. Together, we radiate light, empowering one another to overcome challenges and advocate for a brighter future. 🕯️✨
