I finally got to photograph this amazing tree in the water on the Northeast point of the island. I saw this tree many times while working on the Aggressor, and always wanted to take some in water photos of someone on it. Luckily I had a very willing model to trailblaze through jungle and unstable rocky beach to get to it 😊

Silky shark (Carcharhinus falciformis) taken on Monday with 25 miles North of Grand Cayman in open ocean. The two of us went out to a FAD (fabricated artificial device) that Guy Harvey set up about 4 years ago, which attracts a variety of fish, but more specifically these resident silky sharks. These sharks are very bold, fast and get right up in your face. It was an amazing experience with one of the world’s biggest advocates for ocean conservation.

Had so much fun shooting and , such great people doing amazing work for ocean conservation!
