Chere In Korea
Welcome to Korea! My husband and I share our daily life as well as Korean culture
Not the kind of day we were hoping for 😢 Took our sweet pup to the vet because he needs 6 teeth pulled. Hoping everything goes smoothly and he feels so much better afterward. It’s hard seeing him uncomfortable, but we know this will help him in the long run ❤️🐶

What a beautiful day in Gochang with wonderful friends 💕 We spent the afternoon at Gochang Arimia enjoying the flowers, peaceful scenery, and amazing mountain views. The nature there was absolutely stunning and so relaxing to walk around.
After exploring, we all shared a delicious seafood lunch together filled with fresh dishes, laughter, and great memories. Days like this remind me how thankful I am for the friendships and experiences we’ve made here in Korea 🇰🇷🌿
Just a normal night at the convenience store in South Korea… until the arm wrestling match started 😂💪🇰🇷

Exploring another beautiful historic spot in downtown Daegu 🇰🇷❤️ I love how South Korea mixes peaceful traditional architecture with the busy modern city all around it. Places like this make me appreciate living here even more. ✨
We went shopping at Costco in South Korea and the prices of some foods were shocking 😳🥩 Beef and pork here can be much more expensive than in America, so we wanted to show what grocery shopping in Korea really looks like. come shop with us at Korean Costco! 🇰🇷🛒
One thing I still can’t get over in South Korea is how fast and affordable things are 😳👓 I got new prescription glasses with no insurance, and they were completely finished in just 40 minutes! Back in America, I would’ve been waiting days or weeks. Living in Korea keeps surprising me 🇰🇷✨
Nothing feels more like spring in South Korea than cherry blossoms, mountain views, and the sound of Korean trot music filling the air 🌸🎶 We spent the day at the Cherry Blossom Festival on Palgong Mountain watching talented trot singers perform and enjoying the festival atmosphere. Such a fun experience!

Exploring the Gyeongsan Traditional Market was such a fun experience! 🇰🇷 We loved walking through the colorful market, seeing all the fresh fruit, and experiencing everyday life in South Korea. The bright yellow Korean melons were everywhere and looked almost too pretty to eat 🍈❤️ Traditional markets always have such a different feeling compared to regular grocery stores.
Would you visit a traditional market like this?”
One of my favorite things about living in South Korea is how even the simplest nights turn into good memories ❤️ We went out for doenjangjiggae in Daegu and ended the night with a stop at the convenience store because honestly… Korean convenience stores are an experience of their own 😂🇰🇷
🚨 One thing that shocks foreigners in South Korea? Police cars drive around with their lights flashing ALL the time 😳 In America, flashing lights usually mean “pull over NOW” — but in Korea, it’s often just normal patrol! Living in Korea keeps teaching me new things every day 🇰🇷
One of my favorite things about living in South Korea is exploring all the snack shops 🇰🇷🍪 There are so many unique chips, candies, drinks, and instant foods that we never saw back home. We went snack shopping in Daegu and somehow ended up with a basket full of treats we “just wanted to try” 😂
If you could visit a Korean snack shop, what’s the first thing you’d grab?
