Thursday News: Bus trips in Daegu

Hello :) !

After an unexpected week off, here's a bit late daegu bus trip news

Where?
"Memorial street of famous singer, Kim guang seok" and Bangcheon market.

How? Bus 305 (from North gate to KNU hospital)

Why? The street is made to commemorate the once nation-wide famous singer, Kim guang seok whose hometown is Daegu. Though he didn't play the K-pops, his lyrical guitar melody still moves us! Here, you can find his statue, lyrics on the painted walls and sentimental moods around the neighborhood. Also there are some descent bars and regional restaurants!

Hope you enjoy Daegu until the end of your stay here ;-)

Tuesday news - Korean Snack, chosen by KSA

Fish cake is a kind of snack sold in the street especially in cold-season. it’s baked dough with sweet red-bean inside. It's very cheap(a thousand won for 3 at usal) so people enjoy it. the reason why it is called as ‘fish cake’ though it doesn’t have any fish for its ingredient is its fish-like appearance. Recently there are various kinds with pizza, sweet potato and custard cream in it. These days, we can easily see those sellers near KNU at night. try it!

Korean Symbol - Red Devil

Have you ever seen people who were wearing Red T-shirts during World Cup Soccer Game??

Those people are called Red Devil, who cheer for Korean soccer teams! They are famous for active performances. During World cup seasons, they gather in various places and shout out "Dae~Han Min Kook" which means Republic of Korea in Korean.

Next time you see Korean Soccer team playing their games, why don't you look for Red Devil?
