So a client came by the office today and asked, "Hey Carl, why ALUMINUM windows and not PVC? Is it because Aluminum is a bit more costly?"

I said yes its a bit more costly , but I deal with nothing but the best in quality. He then said , "How, tell me more!"

I said to him, "Take out your pen and paper and let me school you, then he said no, educate me, so I start laughing and agreed to do so. LOL

1) Aluminum life spand is about 30 years vs PVC, which is 15 years.

2) Aluminum is more scratch resistant and weather resistant while PVC over a period of time changes color , gets dry and brittle and prone to break and easily cracking .

3) Aluminum is better for the Caribbean climate as it does not retain heat like PVC, Aluminum is actually heat resistant , are weatherproof and do not swell or crack when exposed to the elements of nature .

4) Aluminum is a stronger material. Hence, it can bear more weight . You can have a bigger window that will maintain its shape while PVC will warp as it gets bigger.

5) Aluminum doesn't RUST (iron and metal rust, but NOT ALUMINUM).
