KCB Rugby Club

A new era begins at the Den. A host of new faces are blending in with some familiar ones as Andrew Amonde’s charges gear up for what promises to be an intriguing season. With the pressure, intensity and expectations of the Lion Hearted Family firmly on their shoulders, the question remains “how will this new look squad rise to the occasion?”
The stage is set. The season awaits.

The first-ever Lion Hearted Cup lived up to the hype. The Den was buzzing as both sides brought the intensity, with bone-crunching tackles, flowing rugby and plenty of action from start to finish. The KCB Lions walked away with a 39–8 win in Nairobi, but there’s still another chapter to this story. In a fortnight, we head to Kampala for the return leg. Can the KCB Kobs respond on home soil and turn things around? There’s only one way to find out. See you in Kampala.

…and the day is finally here! Try and be at the Den from midday as we get ready for what promises to be one hell of a rugby day.
Thank you all for the support. See you there!!!

KCB KOBs are one of Uganda’s oldest and most decorated rugby clubs. Founded in 1963 and based in Kampala, they’ve built a legacy that includes 13 Uganda Premiership titles, nine Uganda Cups, and multiple National 7s crowns, cementing their place among East Africa’s rugby giants. They come into this Lion Hearted Cup clash with momentum after ending a trophy drought by lifting the 2026 Kyabazinga 7s without losing a single match, a reminder of the resilience that has defined the Blue Army for decades.
And when they travel, they’re backed by their loyal supporters, the Blue Army.
