This Earth Day, Digital Opportunity Trust is proud to announce the DOT Climate Network: "Scaling Youth Leadership for a Sustainable Future", supported by the Cisco Foundation.

Building on the impact of the initial two phases — rooted in the energy and leadership of 160+ Climate Champions and thousands of engaged community members — the DOT Climate Network will scale across eight countries, reaching 18,500 direct beneficiaries and over 100,000 individuals indirectly.

When young people are empowered with the right tools and opportunities, they become enduring catalysts for climate resilience in their communities.

Celebrating Impact 🌟

In Marsabit County, Hassan Abdi Gufu had the passion for content creation, but like many young creatives, he was still searching for direction.

That turning point came when he joined the Ganjisha Content Program.

Through hands-on training and mentorship, Hassan refined his niche, shifted into journalism, and developed practical photography and videography skills. He moved from depending on others to creating independently, growing his audience and strengthening his craft.

Today, he continues to build his presence in the digital space with clarity and confidence.

“The best time to start is now,” he says.

The Ganjisha Content Program is implemented by Digital Opportunity Trust Kenya in partnership with the Africa Digital Media Institute - ADMI, and supported by Google.org, equipping young creators across Kenya with practical digital and entrepreneurial skills to thrive in the digital economy.
