We had an exciting visit from Nathan from Peace Winds Japan and his colleague, who met with our new FRADI administrator to review our waste management initiatives, including the weekly Kakuma 4 market & Clinic 7 cleaning.

We showed them our office garden 🌱, and they promised to support us with water supply, on the condition that we put up a fence to protect it.

Even more exciting – they’ve connected us with a client and are looking forward to purchasing 1 ton of PET from us!

Big thanks to everyone making FRADI’s projects a success. Together, we’re growing, cleaning, and creating opportunities! 💪♻️

Weekly FRADI meeting 🤝

Today we reflected on our journey and discussed the upcoming FAO Kenya training, which will equip us with more skills and knowledge once again.
This year feels different. We are growing, learning, and believing in better opportunities ahead. We remain hopeful for partnerships, sponsors, and support that will help empower our members — including the possibility of stipends as we continue serving the community.

We were honored to receive guests from at our FRADI Center. They spent time learning about the work we do and the impact of our recycling initiatives. We also discussed how they can support us in securing reliable power to run our recycling machines, especially our extruder.
