Today, on International Women's Day, we joined other CSOs and the County Government of Kajiado in Kiserian to amplify the voices of ALL women and girls.

Progress has been made, but challenges remain.Together, when we unite, we create lasting change.

FGM is a human rights violation.
The prevalance of FGM in Kajiado County is at 63%, this is as a result of the emerging trends such as medicalization and cross border paractice.

✂️The prevalence of FGM among women aged 15-49 in Kenya is 14.8%.
🌍 4.4 million women and girls are at risk of FGM globally.

The prohibition of FGM Act come into effect on 4th October 2011, is the principal legislation governing FGM in Kenya.

This , Dada Digital is spotlighting the importance of adult education for women and girls in grassroots communities. For them, education is more than a right—it’s a second chance. Adult education offers a lifeline to rewrite their stories, regain confidence, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.

We believe that learning is a powerful tool for empowerment, self-reliance, and breaking the cycle of poverty. Through our efforts, we aim to help girls and women reclaim their voices, unlock their potential, and inspire change in their communities.
