Revitalize Skin Beautique is officially closed in Okinawa 😭 It’s been a really amazing almost six years! So sad to say goodbye to my amazing clientele and goodbye to this little spa that I worked so hard on and was so successful thru all sorts of ups and downs (cough, COVID, cough). Throughout everything, I’ve been blown away by the amount of support I’ve received over the years. I was luckier than most to stay here so long and I’ve enjoyed it all! Thank you all so much for being a part of the spa’s continued success! My clients are truly some of the best people I’ve ever met! I’ll miss this 😢

Hello lovelies. I’ve been dreading this post but the time has come, my family and I are moving away from this beautiful island we’ve called home for almost 7 years. My last month for taking clients in Okinawa will be June. Looking back over the past almost 6 years since I opened Revitalize Skin Beautique, I’m filled with such gratitude, pride, and happiness. Thank you all, clients past and present, for trusting me with your skin, your loyalty, all the referrals, your confidence in my knowledge and allowing me to share it with you. It made my day to talk to each of you, learn about you, and share our stories with each other. So many of you have made an impact on my life without even knowing, and I cherish all the memories and learning experiences with you. It’s already the last month of 2023! This year has sped by 💨 I hope all of you are having a fabulous holiday season so far! I will be off island this month starting on the 11th and won’t be back until January! All messages in that time will be responded to once I get back on island. New skincare goodies! Some old favorites and some new things I’ve been wanting to try! The Sephora sell is coming soon! Here are a couple things to add to cart if you want to try something new that I have found to work well:

For Pigmentation/Dark Spots: Eadam Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum. Best serum I’ve found to lighten and get rid of pigmentation!

Moisturizing Eye Cream: Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb. Super hydrating and gets rid of any crepiness.

Hydrating “daytime” moisturizer- Paula’s choice Water Infusing Electrolyte Moisturizer. Feels silky soft on the skin and absorbs beautifully. Skin feels hydrated all day.

Hydrating “evening” moisturizer- Ole Henrekisen strength trainer peptide boost moisturizer. A bit of a thicker moisturizer, great for nighttime when skin is rejuvenating. I did not like how it wore under makeup during the day though.

Cleansing balm - belif aqua bomb makeup removing cleansing balm. Doesn’t leave a film and removes waterproof makeup quickly and effortlessly.

Hydrating/anti aging serum - Biossance squalane + hyaluronic acid copper peptide rapid plumping serum. Hydrating, plumps the skin instantly, and has copper peptides which support collagen and elastin production for firmer and soother skin.

Retinol - Paula’s choice clinical 1% retinol treatment. Addresses the visible signs of aging without being too aggressive or irritating to the skin.

For KP - First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Scrub with 10% AHA. Great for bumps on the backs of your arms or for strawberry legs. Helps exfoliate and heal those ingrown hairs and bumps.

For Blemishes - Peace Out Salicylic Acid Acne Healing Dots. Great if you can’t stop picking! Helps heal and reduce redness, irritation, and size while you sleep. I’ve even worn them during the day and they aren’t super noticeable!

Facial exfoliant - Dermalogica Daily Milkfoliant Exfoliator. An exfoliating but calling powder cleanser that doesn’t oversensitize the skin.

Vitamin C - Farmacy 10% waterless vitamin c serum. Feels great, brightens, lightens pigmentation and helps reduce sun damage

The weather in Oki is cooling down! Yay! It’s finally starting to feel like fall! Even with the cooler weather, it’s still important to protect your skin from the sun! Here’s a few of my favorite SPF’s found out in town! I’m obsessed with Biore SPFs at the moment 😁 The spray worked like a dream on my daughters’ skin while we were at the Naha Tug of War. We were outside all day and it was HOT 🥵 No burns or redness that evening and I only applied it once in the morning! It would be great to apply over makeup! The Aqua Rich and Barrier Me are both so serumy and glowy! They absorb nicely, don’t feel sticky, don’t leave any white cast, don’t ball under makeup, and leave your skin glowy and hydrated.
