From supporting truck drivers and facilitating container movements, to assisting with weighing and customs processes, coordinating across departments, and minimizing delays during peak congestion — this team has been at the heart of keeping our operations moving.

They have also played a pivotal role in identifying and resolving system and process issues, safeguarding operational continuity and service excellence.

Women's Wellbeing: An Ongoing Journey

At ACT, we believe that employee wellbeing is fundamental to creating a healthy, engaged, and thriving workplace.
As part of our ongoing wellbeing journey, we recently hosted a dedicated Women Wellbeing Offsite Session, providing our women employees with an opportunity to focus on holistic health and personal wellbeing.

During the first half of 2026, ACT handled 472,680 TEUs, compared with 468,062 TEUs during the same period in 2025, while transit cargo volumes reached 60,178 TEUs, a 155.1% increase from the 23,593 TEUs in H1 2025. This performance was supported by consistently high productivity across terminal operations despite evolving regional trade dynamics. The terminal also recorded 188,927 truck gate in/out movements during the six-month period, in comparison to 182,490 movements in H1 2025, reflecting continued cargo flow efficiency across the supply chain……

خلال النصف الأول من العام، حققت الشركة مؤشرات تشغيلية إيجابية؛ حيث سجلت حجم مناولة إجمالياً بلغ 472,680 حاوية نمطية، مقارنة بـ468,062 حاوية نمطية خلال الفترة نفسها من عام 2025، فيما بلغ حجم البضائع العابرة (الترانزيت) 60,178 حاوية نمطية، مسجلة ارتفاعاً بنسبة 155.1%، وذلك بالمقارنة مع 23,593 حاوية نمطية خلال النصف الأول من عام 2025. وقد جاء هذا الأداء مدعوماً بمستويات إنتاجية مرتفعة ومستقرة عبر مختلف العمليات التشغيلية في الميناء، وذلك برغم المتغيرات المتواصلة في حركة التجارة الإقليمية…….

تعزيز الشراكات لدعم نمو التجارة الأردنية
تشرّفت شركة ميناء حاويات العقبة باستقبال وفد رفيع المستوى ضمّ نقيب نقابه وكلاء الملاحة الأردنية السيد زيد الكلالده، النقابه اللوجستية الأردنية برئاسة السيد نزار صالح، وغرفة تجارة عمّان ممثلةً بالنائب الأول لرئيس الغرفة السيد نبيل الخطيب.
وأعرب الوفد عن تقديره لدور الشركة الحيوي في استمرارية عمل ميناء الحاويات بكفاءة خلال هذه الظروف، والتعامل مع الأحجام المتزايدة من البضائع المتجهة إلى بلاد الشام، فيما تناولت النقاشات سبل تعزيز الأداء وانسيابية بضائع الترانزيت.

Strengthening Partnerships for Jordan's Trade Growth
ACT was honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from the Jordan Shipping Association (JSA)chairman Zaid Kaladeh, the Jordan Logistics Association (JLA) headed by Chairman Mr. Nizar Saleh, and the Amman Chamber of Commerce represented by First Vice Chairman Mr. Nabil AlKhatib.
The delegation thanked ACT for its vital role in keeping the port running smoothly during these challenging times while handling growing cargo volumes to the Greater Levant. Discussions focused on maintaining optimal port performance and enhancing transit cargo efficiency.
Together, we remain committed to strengthening Jordan's position as the preferred gateway to the Greater Levant.

ترحيب حافل بسفارة جمهورية الهند في ميناء حاويات العقبة
تشرفت شركة ميناء حاويات العقبة بإستضافة سعادة السيد مانيش شوهان، سفير جمهورية الهند لدى المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، يرافقه السيد في. سيفارامان، السكرتير الثاني (للشؤون التجارية) ورئيس الديوان، والسيد إياد ربو، السكرتير الاجتماعي، وذلك في زيارة تعارفية إلى الميناء.
وكان في إستقبال الوفد فريق الإدارة العليا في الشركة، ممثلة بالرئيس التنفيذي خوسيه رويدا، إلى جانب أنغشومان موستافي، المدير التجاري التنفيذي ، وإيهاب الرواشدة، مدير التسويق والعلاقات العامة، ومجد الأسمر، مدير تطوير الأعمال.
وخلال الزيارة، ناقش الجانبان فرص التعاون المستقبلي وسبل تعزيز تدفقات البضائع عبر ميناء حاويات العقبة، بما يسهم في دعم الحركة التجارية بين البلدين. كما اختُتمت الزيارة بجولة من الإطلالة على الميناء، حيث اطّلع الوفد على العمليات التشغيلية للميناء ودورها الحيوي كبوابة الأردن إلى التجارة العالمية.
نتقدم بجزيل الشكر لضيوفنا الكرام على هذه الزيارة، ونتطلع إلى توطيد أواصر التعاون واستكشاف المزيد من الفرص المشتركة في المستقبل.

A Warm Welcome to the Embassy of India at Aqaba Container Terminal 🇯🇴-🇮🇳

Aqaba Container Terminal was delighted to host His Excellency Mr. Manish Chauhan, Ambassador of India to Jordan, together with Mr. V. Sivaraman, Second Secretary (Commercial) & Head of Chancery, and Mr. Eyad Rabbu, Social Secretary, for a courtesy visit to ACT.
The delegation was welcomed by ACT's senior management team, led by CEO José Rueda, along with Chief Commercial Officer Angshuman Mustafi, Marketing & PR Manager Ihab Alrawashdeh, and Business Development Manager Majd Alasmar.
During the visit, both sides discussed opportunities for future cooperation and ways to further enhance cargo flows through Aqaba Container Terminal. The visit concluded with a terrace overview of the terminal, highlighting ACT's operations and its role as Jordan's gateway to global trade.

We thank our distinguished guests for their visit and look forward to strengthening cooperation and building new opportunities together.

يسرّ شركة اي بي أم تيرمنالز الاردن أن تُعلن عن توقيع اتفاقية عمل جماعية جديدة مدتها ثلاث سنوات مع النقابة العامة للعاملين في الموانئ والتخليص.

وقد جاءت هذه الاتفاقية ثمرةَ حوارٍ بنّاء واحترامٍ متبادل، بما يعكس التزاماً مشتركاً تجاه موظفينا وتجاه توفير بيئة عمل إيجابية ومستدامة لجميع العاملين في ميناء حاويات العقبة.
وإذ تضع الاتفاقية موظفينا في صميم أولوياتها، فإنها ترسّخ أسس الثقة والتعاون التي تتيح لنا النموّ معاً؛ بما يدعم فريقنا ويحافظ في الوقت ذاته على استدامة العمل الذي نعتمد عليه جميعاً، والخدمة التي نقدّمها لعملائنا ولمجتمع العقبة الأوسع.

APM Terminals Jordan is pleased to announce the signing of a new three-year Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the General Union for Workers in seaports and Clearance . Reached through constructive dialogue and mutual respect, this agreement reflects a shared commitment to our people and to a stable, positive, and sustainable working environment for everyone at ACT. With our employees at its center, the CBA strengthens the foundation of trust and collaboration that allows us to grow together — supporting our team while sustaining the business we all rely on and the service we provide to our customers and the wider Aqaba community. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Labor, the General Union for Workers in seaports and Clearance , and everyone who contributed to reaching this agreement. Together, we look forward to building on this partnership and continuing to move forward as one team.
