Through the Breaking Barriers, Steps of Hope project, CBM and its local partner Al Ataa Charitable Society are helping children, adolescents, women, and persons with disabilities in Gaza regain a sense of safety, dignity, and hope. From psychosocial support and protection services to inclusive learning spaces and legal awareness, the project creates opportunities for healing, empowerment, and resilience amid extraordinary challenges.
This video captures a small but significant solution addressing the challenges identified in the community by youth volunteers and staff. By creating more supportive learning environments, children are given the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and holding on to their dreams despite the hardships of crisis.
في اليوم العالمي للعمل الإنساني، نُشيد بتفاني العاملين في المجال الإنساني الذين يقفون جنباً إلى جنب مع المجتمعات في أوقات الأزمات.
من خلال مشروع "كسر الحواجز: خطوات الأمل"، تعمل منظمة CBM وشريكها المحلي "جمعية العطاء الخيرية" على مساعدة الأطفال والمراهقين والنساء والأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في غزة لاستعادة شعورهم بالأمان والكرامة والأمل. وسواء تعلق الأمر بتقديم الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي وخدمات الحماية، أو توفير مساحات تعليمية دامجة ونشر الوعي القانوني، فإن المشروع يخلق فرصاً للتعافي والتمكين وتعزيز الصمود في ظل تحديات استثنائية.
يُسلط هذا الفيديو الضوء على حلٍ بسيط ولكنه ذو أثرٍ كبير، حيث يعالج تحديات رصدها متطوعون شباب وموظفون ميدانيون داخل المجتمع. فمن خلال تهيئة بيئات تعليمية أكثر دعماً ومساندة، يُتاح للأطفال فرصة مواصلة التعلم والنمو والتمسك بأحلامهم رغم قسوة الأزمات.

شاركت مؤسسة CBM - مكتب الأردن في المؤتمر العربي الإقليمي لمتابعة مخرجات القمة العالمية للإعاقة 2025، الذي نظمته الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية والمجلس الأعلى لحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، بدعم من CBM والوكالة الألمانية للتعاون الدولي (GIZ).
وفي إطار الجلسة الإقليمية لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا حول الإتاحة الرقمية، استعرضنا تجربة الأردن في تطوير محتوى تعليمي رقمي ميسر، وتعزيز استخدام التقنيات المساندة، ودعم أنظمة التعليم الدامج.
ويستند هذا العمل إلى شراكات فاعلة مع وزارة التربية والتعليم، ومنظمات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، ومختلف الشركاء الوطنيين. والأهم من ذلك، أنه ينطلق من مبدأ أساسي مفاده أن الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة يجب أن يكونوا في صميم تصميم الحلول التي تعنى بهم، وصياغتها، وتقييمها.
معًا، نواصل العمل من أجل أنظمة تعليمية أكثر إتاحة وشمولًا وإنصافًا في المنطقة.

CBM Jordan participated in the Arab Regional Conference to Follow up on the Outcomes of the 2025, organised by thجامعة الدول العربية | League of Arab Stateses League of Arab States - General Secretariat and Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilitiesrdan Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), with support from CBM and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
As part of the Middle East and North Africa regional panel on digital accessibility, we shared Jordan’s experience in advancing accessible digital learning content, assistive technologies, and inclusive education systems.
This work is grounded in partnership with the Ministry of Education, organisations of persons with disabilities, and national actors. It is also grounded in one simple principle: persons with disabilities must shape the solutions meant to serve them.

As part of the “Advancing the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Gaza Strip 2026” project, Ertiqaa Association for Community Development, in partnership with CBM, conducted a specialized training program for healthcare professionals to strengthen inclusive practices and improve healthcare services for persons with disabilities.

تعلن جمعية ارتقاء للتنمية المجتمعية بالشراكة مع CBM عن إطلاق مشروع تعزيز حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الاعاقة في قطاع غزة، والذي يهدف الى دعم حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وتعزيز دمجهم المجتمعي، يشمل المشروع خدمات متخصصة في العلاج الطبيعي، علاج النطق، والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي، إلى جانب تدريب وتطوير قدرات الكوادر المحلية العاملة في قطاعي الصحة والتعليم بالإضافة الى تنفيذ أنشطة الحشد والمناصرة لتوعوية المجتمع المحلي، يأتي هذا المشروع ضمن الجهود المشتركة لبناء مجتمع أكثر شمولًا وعدالة.

Launch of the “Enhancing the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Gaza Strip” Project
Ertiqaa Association for Community Development announces the launch of its project in partnership with CBM, aiming to support the rights of persons with disabilities and promote their social inclusion.
The project includes specialized services such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, and psychosocial support, in addition to staff training and the implementation of awareness and advocacy activities to educate the local community.
This project comes as part of joint efforts to build a more inclusive and equitable society.
