• التكنولوجيا والابتكار الرقمي
• التعليم والإعلام والصناعات الإبداعية
• التجارة والخدمات

أتاحت الفعالية للشركات فرصة لعرض حلولها الخضراء والمبتكرة، وتعزيز جاهزيتها للاستثمار، وبناء روابط مع الشركاء، بما يدعم نموها ويسهم في تعزيز النمو الاقتصادي المستدام في الأردن.

The fifth cohort of Undp Jordan Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator Project is underway, kicking off with the first Pitch Day and bringing together 23 companies led by entrepreneurs across a diverse range of sectors:

• Green economy and sustainability
• Technology and digital innovation
• Education, media and creative industries
• Trade and services

The Pitch Day provided companies with an opportunity to showcase their innovative green solutions, strengthen their investment readiness and build connections with potential partners, supporting their growth while contributing to a more sustainable economy in Jordan.

As part of continued efforts to advance Jordan’s transition towards sustainable energy, Undp Jordan , in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, delivered a capacity-building workshop for more than 30 public sector participants.

The workshop focused on de-risking energy efficiency investments and Energy Performance Contracting, strengthening participants’ knowledge of energy efficiency financing, project development, risk management, energy audits, and measurement and verification.

The training was delivered through the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP Sustainable Energy Investment Accelerator (SEIA), strengthening public sector capacity to develop and finance energy efficiency projects.

Supported by UNDP Funding Windows, with generous contributions from Denmark, Luxembourg and the Republic of Korea.



في إطار الجهود المتواصلة لتعزيز التحول نحو الطاقة المستدامة في الأردن، نظّم برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في الأردن، بالتعاون مع وزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية، ورشة تدريبية لبناء القدرات بمشاركة أكثر من 30 من ممثلي القطاع العام.

ركزت الورشة على الحد من مخاطر الاستثمار في كفاءة الطاقة وعقود أداء الطاقة، وتعزيز معارف المشاركين في مجالات تمويل كفاءة الطاقة، وتطوير المشاريع، وإدارة المخاطر، وتدقيقات الطاقة، والقياس والتحقق.

ونفذت الورشة ضمن مسرّع الاستثمار في الطاقة المستدامة التابع لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (SEIA)، بما يعزز قدرات القطاع العام على تطوير وتمويل مشاريع كفاءة الطاقة.

The Aqaba Marine Reserve محمية العقبة البحرية recognition as Jordan’s first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site was years in the making.

جمع شباب وشابات من محافظة العقبة بذور نباتات الطلح والنبق والدوم والشيح، بالإضافة إلى بذور الخزامى المهددة بالانقراض.

وتهدف حملة جمع بذور النباتات المحلية الأصيلة في العقبة، التي نفذتها سلطة منطقة العقبة الاقتصادية الخاصة بالشراكة مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في الأردن، وبتمويل من حكومة كندا، إلى استعادة الغطاء النباتي المحلي الأصيل والحفاظ على إرث العقبة الطبيعي والثقافي.

Young women and men in Aqaba collected seeds from native plants, including acacia, sidr, doum palm and wormwood, as well as Lavandula coronopifolia, which is threatened with extinction.

Implemented by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in partnership with UNDP Jordan and funded by the Government of Canada, the Aqaba Native Plant Seed Collection Campaign aims to restore native vegetation and preserve Aqaba’s natural and cultural heritage.

إن إدخال تقنيات التبريد المستدام خطوة مهمة، وبناء المعرفة والمهارات اللازمة لتوسيع نطاق استخدامها لا يقل أهمية.

استكمالاً للجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز حلول التبريد المستدام في الأردن، نفّذ برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في الأردن، بالتعاون مع وزارة البيئة والجمعية العلمية الملكية، تدريباً عملياً لمشاركين من سلطة منطقة العقبة الاقتصادية الخاصة ودائرة الجمارك الأردنية.

ويأتي التدريب بعد إطلاق أول وحدة تكييف مركزية كبيرة في الأردن تعمل بالمبرّد الطبيعي R290 في محمية العقبة البحرية العام الماضي، ضمن برنامج Cool Up وبتمويل من مبادرة المناخ الدولية (IKI).

ومن خلال التدريب والتطبيق العملي، عزّز المشاركون معارفهم ومهاراتهم الفنية في مجال تقنيات التبريد المستدام، بما يدعم جاهزية الأردن لتبنّي حلول تبريد أكثر استدامة وكفاءة في استخدام الطاقة، ويسهم في تحقيق أهدافه المناخية والبيئية.

Introducing sustainable cooling technologies is one step. Building the knowledge and skills to support their wider adoption is equally important.

Building on efforts to advance sustainable cooling solutions in Jordan, UNDP Jordan , in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and the Royal Scientific Society , delivered practical training for participants from the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and Jordan Customs .
The training follows the introduction last year of Jordan’s first large central air-conditioning unit operating with the natural refrigerant R290, launched in the Aqaba Marine Reserve under the Cool Up Programme with funding from the International Climate Initiative (IKI).

Through practical learning and demonstration, participants strengthened their knowledge and technical skills in sustainable cooling technologies, supporting Jordan’s readiness to adopt cleaner, more energy-efficient cooling solutions and advance its climate and environmental goals.
