The student chapters of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Association of Energy Engineers at the Middle East University are organizing a lecture entitled “Student Echange Opportunities with Erasmus+” which will be presented by Prof. Konstantinos Nikas, a highly accomplished mechanical engineer with a PhD in computation fluid dynamics. The lecture will be held on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Middle East University - Lecture hall (Building B Loung) The lecture is a great opportunity for students to learn more about Erasmus+ program.

Prof. Nikas has published numerous research papers on topics such as fluids and power generation, and he is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMECHE) and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE). He is also a lecturer in the University of Weat Attica, where he has shared his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of engineers. Participates in the Bridges Competition held by colleagues at the ASCE - University of Jordan Chapter on the campus of The University of Jordan - University of Jordan last November
The competition aimed to create a spirit of cooperation and participation and exchange of scientific and practical experiences among the students participating in the construction of a traffic bridge made of wood.

Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) represents more than 140,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide and is America’s oldest national engineering society.
Our student chapter aims to prepare the students to enter the civil engineering profession and the society specifically in professional matters, professional contacts and networking and Leadership development

شكلت كلية الهندسة المدنية في جامعة الشرق الأوسط فريقاً مميز لإدارة عملية إضافة الطلبة وتسجيلهم في عضوية الجمعية الأمريكية للمهندسين المدنيين ،
حيث سيقوم هذا الفريق بإقامة العديد من الأنشطة والفعاليات التي توظف وتصقل مهارات المهندس المدني في مهنته .

The Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Middle East University has formed a distinguished team to manage the process of adding students and registering them for membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Where this team will hold many activities and events that employ and hone the skills of the civil engineer in his profession.
