The Girls Do Good Foundation

Today, 5️⃣0️⃣ GDG care packages, 2️⃣1️⃣ packs of baby diapers, baby clothes and refreshments were handed over to the team of Social Workers, Nurses and Doctors who provide care to the Women and Girls in St. Ann who are living with HIV. In total 1️⃣5️⃣3️⃣0️⃣ items were delivered! 🥳🥳

Immense gratitude is extended to all our donors who made this distribution possible as many of our recipients suffered great losses and damages during Hurricane Melissa. We are very thankful to you all for adding a lot of love and joy to their spirits today 🩷.

Update on the items needed for the distribution;
- 120 packs of Sanitary Napkins (4 cases)
- 21 packs of baby diapers (one pack holds 30)
- Baby Clothes
- Food Supplies (we’d like to prepare packages for the recipients 🫶🏾)
- Christmas Cake and Refreshments

In less than 24 hours, we received 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ packs of Sanitary Napkins courtesy of the movement! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Hey guys! Post - Hurricane Mellissa, it is important that we remember, that Menstruation does not stop, even in a disaster.

For some, this means facing their period without the products or privacy they need to feel clean and confident. In St. Ann, we found 50 women and girls (including: Postpartum Mothers and Teens) who are facing this quiet burden. We need your support to help restore hope, dignity and peace of mind.

After 4 years of service to Jamaican Women and Girls, we have to come to a crossroads with a big decision to make and while we do so, we ask for your support in prayer 🙏🏾.
