It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend Derrick Codner “Daddy Roots” Dada., who passed away on November 11,2024. Daddy Roots passing was unexpected. He was an examplery team member of Jamaica Solid Gold Tours. He was a source of inspiration for his teammates with whom he shared his passion for the Transportation industry. He has contributed to the industry for over 65 years.
All employees, family and friends of Jamaica Solid Gold Tours join in expressing our sincerest condolences to Mr. Codner’s family and close relations.

It is a great pleasure to start the new year by wishing all my customers, employees and friends a happy and healthy 2022.
I want to say thank you for your unwaverly support throughout 2021.This past year was a difficult one, filled with trials and tribulations due to COVID 19. However we were able to somewhat make positive growth enabling us to bring back most of our working crew.
The new year is at hand and we will be fully focused on growth and also to reinforce our efforts in rebuilding and expand our seating capacity for the new year.

Our Transportation team is currently 10% operational and covers only contractual agreements.Most of our staff are home. For those who are still working in the public, we have implemented best practices of social distancing and other protective measures.We also have to adhere to all the rules, regulations and Curfew orders given by our government of Jamaica. The more we work together, the more prepared we can be and most importantly, the better we can keep all of us safe and mentally strong.
As the days progress we struggle for a healthier and brighter tomorrow. I am confident that we will overcome this adversity.It is the history of mankind that we fight and persevere.
