A STORYTELLING ADVENTURE FOR ALL AGE GROUPS

08/03/2026

DAYS OF THE WEAK

It could be Christmas
It could be Ramadan
It might as well bleed Easter
Bleed Sudan , The Congo, Haiti
Bleed Gaza , Palestine
It could bleed without power like Venezuela
Bleed blood in the dark like Cuba
It could be hot as hell
Or beat down rain
Like Beryl
Or Melissa
Murder, R**e or Hurricane,
Vacate the shelters
Return to the streets
To the boasts of commercial centres
Rising where schools once stood
And students remain unaccounted for
Care-package less
Doctor less
The holders of power could care less
It could be
Any day
Any where
Any time
Any one
Shouting without being heard
Dying without hopes
Of a burial
Surviving with no dreams of living
But it’s International Women’s Day 2026
Another beautiful slogan
Give to Gain
Again and again and again
The weak have been made to do the giving.
