We get ready to do more inclusive work, this time for micro and and small enterprises as they too are positioned to reduce their carbon footprint and improve their bottom line. Team members spent Saturday preparing a detailed work plan, Stefan Platteau, (Nicaragua), Eleanor Jones from right here in Jamaica, Nicky will be leading on public education, and Juan joined us virtually from Bolivia.

Participatory at all levels, finding out from PWDs, what questions and what will work best when doing our Disability Participatory Research Assessments. We had a few working sessions listening to them. What are they comfortable with, how they wish to be engaged. This will guide the development of the toolkit which we will use in the four countries.

Development Options Ltd prepares to interact with and listen to Persons With DisAbilities and related institutions as we begin our Disability Assessment for CDB in 4 Caribbean Countries. We want to be sure all team members are on the same page so we had a 3 day working session in Trinidad & Tobago, bringing together 8 team members physically and the other 3 joined us viruallly.
