🌼🌸 Special delivery at BookkeepMe! 🌸🌼

We've always known that we have the best clients and the best team, but this lovely gesture has made our day!

Our super star bookkeeper, Magda, received this beautiful bouquet of flowers from a client as a token of their appreciation. Its always rewarding to see that our extra efforts dont go unnoticed. She's been providing some additional support during a period of change for them, and they wanted to say 'thank you' in a special way.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our small friendly hands-on team, in either a part-time or full-time capacity.

The role is suitable for someone who thrives in a multi-disciplinary setting, as you will be working with multiple clients across multiple industries.
• Working with the team to manage bookkeeping services for a portfolio of clients in an accurate and timely manner.
• Be the first point of contact for allocated clients, responding to various client enquiries in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensuring all client work is completed within applicable lodgement and work schedule deadlines
• Preparing and raising invoices
• Preparation and filing of GST returns
• Preparing and posting journals
• Acting as Credit Control for several allocated clients
• Run client payroll
• Providing administrative and clerical support
• Involvement in internal projects to help business development and growth
• Other ad hoc duties
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ bookkeeping experience is essential
• AAT or IAB Qualified or similar, or willingness to study
• Good understanding of Xero accounting software is preferred but not essential
• General competency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and Outlook
• Good knowledge of other accounting software packages preferred.

Attractive salary
Working hours: part-time 25-30 hours or full time 35 hours per week
Monday - Friday

• Preparation of quarterly GST returns
• Preparing and posting journals
• Acting as Credit Control for several allocated clients
• Run client payroll
• Providing administrative and clerical support
• Involvement in internal projects to help business development and growth
• Other ad hoc duties

Requirements:

• You will be working closely with our Junior Bookkeeper to ensure the transactional duties are accurate and then using this to produce a sound set of management accounts.
• Working with the Directors to manage bookkeeping services for a portfolio of clients in an accurate and timely manner.
• Be the first point of contact for allocated clients, responding to various client enquiries in an accurate and timely manner.
• Preparing appropriate schedules and reports as requested by Clients
• Ensuring all client work is completed within applicable lodgement and work schedule deadlines
• Preparing and raising invoices
• Completing and filing GST returns
• Preparing and posting journals
• Producing adhoc reports
• Acting as Credit Control for several allocated clients
• Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheet
• Providing administrative and clerical support
• Involvement in internal projects to help business development and growth
• Other ad hoc duties

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience is essential
• AAT Qualified or similar
• Good understanding of Xero accounting software is essential
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and Outlook
• Good knowledge of other accounting software packages preferred.

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 DOE

Working hours 09:00-17:30 (with one hour unpaid break)

Monday - Friday

Part time considered for the right candidate.
