Nel video rimuovo l'ultimo decimo di materiale, controllando con uno spessimetro fino a che non riesce a passare sotto la riga di riscontro.

In the video, I’m removing the last 0.1 mm of material, checking with a feeler gauge until it can no longer pass underneath the straightedge.
And did you know that, for a fingerboard to work properly, it should NOT be perfectly straight?

Tutti i miei Sopranini sono progettati per poter suonare al accordatura standard GCEA, all'ottava normale.
Ho preparato una ricetta speciale di diametri di corde, per poter raggiungere quelle note ad una tensione adeguata... ma è anche possibile usare le vostre corde preferite adottando un piccolo trucco da "string-hacker".
C'è anche la possibilità di mo***re un normale set di corde da soprano, a patto che vi piaccia un tensione più bassa.

All my Sopraninos are designed to be played in standard GCEA tuning, at the regular octave.
I have worked out a special recipe of string gauges to reach those notes at a suitable tension… but it’s also possible to use your favourite strings with a little “string-hacker” trick.
There’s also the option of using a regular soprano ukulele string set, as long as you’re happy with a lower tension.
