This month we're turning to Caracas, where the fourth edition of Caracas Design Week (CCSDW) runs June 6-12 under the theme "Intención en movimiento, conexiones reales".

A platform that has changed the way design is lived and navigated in Venezuela, expanding through artistic interventions, co-creation labs, and experiences in iconic spaces that invite citizens to rediscover their city.

Because design, when it moves with intention, builds communities.

Discover the work of the designers who participated in Venice Design Week's Design Market 2025!

Today we introduce Anna Fanigina, jewelry designer and founder of the Latvian brand VERBA, based in Riga.

With a background in mathematics and metal design, she has been crafting exclusively handmade jewelry for over 25 years.
Her pieces are held in permanent collections at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Riga and the Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum in Athens.

Words are at the core of her work, every piece carries an inscription in Latin or Ancient Greek. Working with silver, natural stones, and acrylic glass, her aesthetic is built on transparency and simplicity.

At Venice Design Week she presented VENETA, a collection born in Venice in 2021, inspired by the historic Amber Route of the Veneti people. Jewelry with amber, clear and blue stones, engraved with words about love, clarity, and water, tracing back to the philosophy of Thales, who believed water to be the fundamental element of the Universe.

KANZ
In Venice, where architecture meets craftsmanship, KANZ was born, a design studio founded by architects Mauro Cazzaro and Antonella Maione.

Each object is the result of a close dialogue between designer and Italian artisans: materials explored, techniques experimented, forms shaped for contemporary living.

Home and table accessories, decorative and lighting objects, all handcrafted, all with a story inside!

Venice is not a place you visit. It's a place you feel.
Aqua Palace sits in the heart of Castello, a sestiere the crowds walk through but rarely stop in. Here, between narrow calli and water reflections, time moves differently.

The rooms and suites speak of Marco Polo, of distant routes, of fabrics brought back from the East. Precious textiles, soft lighting, details you don't explain, you simply sense them.

Venice Design Week is pleased to announce its collaboration with Artiste Culture.

A bridge between the international design community and contemporary artistic research, connecting practices that explore the relationship between form, material, and design culture.

Artists within the Artiste Culture network may submit their portfolio for internal curatorial review within the context of Venice Design Week.
