The Sultanate of Oman Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition

Commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, and located in the Arsenale Artiglierie, Zīnah transforms the tradition of Omani silver horse adornment (Al-zannah) into a monumental, participatory environment of sand, suspended metal, and collectively generated sound.

Pavilion of the San Marino Republic at the 61st International Art Exhibition announces Sea of Sound
La Biennale di Venezia 2026

In 2026, the San Marino Pavilion will be hosted in a new venue located between the Arsenale and the Giardini: Tana Art Space (Fondamenta de la Tana No. 2111), a former timber and coal warehouse that has been transformed into a space dedicated to art and culture.

Priya Panse

Priya Panse is an architectural designer whose work explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, and regenerative urban futures. With a background in architecture and inclusive design, her projects investigate the adaptive reuse of industrial structures and the creation of atmospheric architectural environments. Through conceptual architectural renderings and speculative design research, she explores how existing infrastructures can be transformed into contemporary cultural and civic spaces. Priya currently works on hospitality and mixed-use developments in New York while continuing her independent exploration of conceptual architecture and regenerative design strategies.

Nordic Countries Pavilion announces artists for the 61st International Art Exhibition
La Biennale di Venezia 2026

The Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma has selected Klara Kristalova, Benjamin Orlow and Tori Wrånes to represent the Nordic Countries Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition will be curated by Kiasma’s Chief Curator, Anna Mustonen, and commissioned by Kiasma in collaboration with Moderna Museet, Sweden, and OCA – Office for Contemporary Art Norway.

Selina Sand

Selina Sand, a visual artist born in 1980 and based in Helsinki, has been exhibiting actively in recent times, and since 2025 also internationally. Her works have been shown in Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Venice. Inspired by various art forms and styles, including classical art and contemporary abstract art, Sand’s practice consists of painting and drawing with mixed media, especially with the mediums of oil and acrylic paint, and charcoal.
