When you travel for work, you end up seeing much more than what you originally went there to do.
Inside the compound where the training course was held, between one technical session and the next, life went on as usual: someone studying, someone moving from one building to another… and someone improvising a game right where, just a few hours earlier, cables and instruments were being set up.

Quick, unpretentious moments — but they capture a piece of what working abroad really means.
Learning to observe not only what happens on site, but everything happening around you in the world that is hosting you.

Doppia illuminazione LED indipendente, corpo in acciaio inox, cavo con marcatura metrica e lettura della profondità via encoder (opzionale) direttamente sul PC.

Geophysical investigations on a vertical wall – Bridge upstream of the Vajont Dam

Working on a vertical wall is never comfortable.
In this case, a full geophysical characterization of the bridge abutment was needed after a basal rock collapse.
A narrow, complex setting with very little room for error.

Resin-sealed geophones installed on vertical walls, measurement lines distributed over multiple levels and acquisition with PASI equipment.
The outcome was a set of volumetric models useful for understanding how the block responds at depth and how it behaves near discontinuity surfaces.

A job that combines technique, safety and the ability to operate in exterme conditions of the bravest professional experts.

GEA24 Plus is the new PASI modular system designed for seismic acquisitions with more than 48 channels.

Each unit can be can be daisy- chained and controlled by a single external PC, enabling flexible multichannel configurations adaptable to any seismic lines.

For refraction, reflection, surface waves, borehole seismics, HVSR/Nakamura...and much more.

Application Note

Deep Andes near the Salar de Maricunga (Chile) - Atacama Desert - 4,000 meters above sea level - Field campaign involving well monitoring, conducted prior to a pumping test and well completion.

Visual inspections performed with PASI Well-Camera.3 with electronic encoder, centering device and a laptop PC: a reliable but extremely compact solution to reach remote areas all over the world.
