Friday, 29/05 ― KLANG x IPER Festival 2026 “SUPER LIEUX” pres.

𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆: 𝑵𝑬𝑺𝑻
Sonificazioni dell’abitare

Inside the unique and astounding context of MAAM (), as part of the “SUPER LIEUX” edition of IPER Festival (), we are shaping a fictional and speculative non-place as a sonic reflection around the theme of “dwelling”. Together with the priceless partnership of Diacronie (), Cortile della Luna will be temporarily transmuted into a quadraphonic and immersive architecture, where sound is the pivotal element to inhabit and feel.

Within this ephemeral sound building, in the role of both designers and dwellers, Ziúr (), Cosimo Damiano (), and DIACRONIE Ensemble (, , , , ) will present site-specific quadraphonic performances, reflecting through the sound medium on the relationship between space and presence, between places and meanings, between people and lieus.

The playful and creative approach to musical instruments, beyond any written rule or canonic practice, has always been one of our top inspirations.
It’s around this very concept that, together with Diacronie, our 𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆: 𝑻𝑶𝒀𝑺 series was born ― chasing the crispiest attitudes and the sharpest ideas around what a sound instrument could possibly be.

From the voice of and to the percussions of and , from the winds of and to the piano of and & , we had the chance to push the envelope of these “sound toys”, in service of fresher and wider visions.

No setting would have suited better than the dreamlike halls of Teatro di Documenti (.di.documenti), whose spellbinding aura made every frequency resonate like an enchantment.

THANK YOU ALL for being part of our sonic journeys!
See you very very soon with the last few goodies of the season 🩶

LINTD is the solo project of Nigerian musician, composer, producer and filmmaker Iyunoluwanimi Yemi-Shodimu. His work has emerged as a call and response between the tender, dynamic sounds of black music across history and the surreal reality of contemporary, vulnerable black life – a haunting dialogue. For the past 4 years, he has cemented himself as a reliable cultural producer of the black extraordinary and collaborated with vanguards of the Northern experimental scene such as Space Afrika, 96 Back, FUMU, Iceboy Violet, Swing Ting and Porter Brook. These collaborations and provocations are woven into a larger artistic vision: ‘the Black Impossible trilogy’. Through music, films, live events, installation and research, LINTD speculate worlds where the marginalised feel comfortable to be their full, emancipated selves. Often, these worlds are spectacular, always true.

Sunday, 12/04 ― the 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 chapter of our investigation around the sharpest handlings of sound tools is landing to the multifaceted spectrum of “piano”.
Taking place into the surreal halls of Teatro di Documenti, we are thrilled to present:

Classically trained, maya dhondt is a pianist and producer also active in the performance scene. She creates intuitively fragmented music, blending genres, sounds, and languages into a postmodern cramp of bedroom glitch-pop and contemporary piano. Navigating between these worlds, she intelligently crafts sounds of alienating beauty, exploring the edges of her voice, language and twisted electronica: like a warm, but damp cave where it’s pleasant to linger just a little longer.

“passages” is the first output of the duo Fornari Cavallaro. The creation process started as an investigation of some extended techniques for piano and electric guitar, later processed and integrated with sampling, no-input mixing and other forms of live processing through a modular synth, manifesting itself as a sound collage, a juxtaposition of idioms and textures. Processed sounds of ancient choral music from Europe and South American folklore effortlessly coexist with electro-acoustically treated piano and guitar, symbolic apparitions in an informalist narrative.

MERCH DROP

After seasons of hyper-focusing on concept and sound, we felt it was time to sum everything up in a tangible and recognizable imagery.
We wanted it to be high-quality, highly representative, uncompromising and, most of all, BEAUTIFUL.

This is why we joined the vision of our overtalented graphic designer Nicolò Pellarin () with one of the most like-minded brands out there, the amazing Liminal Veil (.veil).
And honestly, we are very proud of the results.

All three different designs are available on Liminal Veil website via 🔗 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐢𝐨
