An extraordinary discovery of the long lost city of Falerii was made without even digging a hole! This mysterious site, dates as far back as 241B.C, is located north of Rome and was a major protagonist of the early expansion of Republican Rome. via CNN International
Archaeologists find 'elaborate' details of ancient Roman city without digging Researchers using advanced ground-penetrating radar have been able to map the entire ancient Roman city of Falerii Novi buried beneath the ground for the first time and discovered "astonishing details," according to a new study.

Aurelian walls and Saint Sebastian's gate otherwise called Appian gate. The defensive walls built by the Emporer Aurelian from 270 till 275 A.D. surrounded Rome by a perimeter of nearly 19km. These walls replaced the obsolete Servian walls that dated as far back as the 6th century B.C.

Tomorrow, May 18th, and in general, finally opens up businesses such as restaurants, bars and much more! Serving only a few clients at the time and keeping a necessary safety distance. On the 3rd of June borders will open flights in the EU without an obligatory 14 day quarantine, hopefully flights from all over the world will follow soon! 🤞
