🌅🏃🏼‍♀️This morning I had the absolute pleasure of leading a fully tailored running tour for Angie and her husband Paul, guests of the wonderful Singer Palace Hotel . An experience crafted around their desires that captivated them step after step, between breathtaking views of the Eternal City and tales of its ancient secrets.

But the true magic of running is the connection. Between one archaeological stop and a casual chat at a light jog, Angie shared an amazing detail with me: she is a Abbott World Marathon Majors ! Having a runner beside me who has completed all six World Marathon Majors was such a wonderful gift and a pure spark of inspiration.

And it doesn’t end there: Angie showered me with questions about the Rome Marathon, which will almost certainly be among her next running dreams. The thought of seeing her speed through our cobblestones and meeting again at the starting line fills my heart with joy! 🤩

Running in Rome is never just a workout: it’s a journey that connects stories, steps, and people who share the same deep passion for running and beauty.

This time, I took them on a special journey through ancient Rome, and the result was pure magic: they were left completely speechless.

Watching their amazed expressions and hearing their words full of happiness fills my heart. It’s moments like these that make me so proud of what I created with ArcheoRunning: a unique way to experience the history of the Eternal City, blending a passion for running and fitwalking with the magic of archaeology and art.

From Hong Kong to Rome for a run with us! ✈️🏃‍♀️

Vicky flew all the way here to experience ArcheoRunning, and Alessandra guided her on our ‘Best of Rome’ tour: the magic of quiet squares early in the morning, hidden alleyways, and a special detour off the beaten path.

I designed a truly unique experience for them: a custom route crafted down to the smallest detail, touching not only Rome’s most iconic squares and hidden gems, but following a very special thread... the incredible art of Caravaggio and Michelangelo! 🖼️🏛️

Running together past masterpieces, timeless alleys, and breathtaking views was amazing. One of those mornings filled with beauty, history, art, and active movement that truly warms your heart!

How wonderful is it to discover Rome while running? ❤️

🌅🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️Today, Sarah and her friends and I shared a truly special experience. Whenever I’m asked for something unique, my heart lights up: for them, I created a one-of-a-kind route that wove together the city’s hidden gems and its most charming residents—cats.

We walked along a subtle thread bridging past and present, from the happy feline colonies bringing historic corners to life, to the stone cats carved into the heart of the city—silent guardians of ancient tales and distant legends. A perfect harmony between life slowing down to a purr and the eternal memory of art.

Between one secret view and the next, there was no shortage of breathtaking panoramas that made our hearts skip a beat. Seeing their eyes light up with wonder and knowing I left a lasting imprint on their memories is an invaluable gift.

What could make me happier than this? Making the beauty of our city unforgettable is my absolute joy.

🌅🏃🏼‍♀️ A running tour can be so many things: sharing a new experience with friends, discovering hidden and unseen spots, seeing familiar places through brand-new eyes, and endless laughs.

🫶🏼We experienced all of this—and so much more—together this morning with Adam, his friend, and Hans, who ran his third and final tour of his Roman holiday with us.

Running like this is pure freedom, something that does good for both the body and the soul.

🌅🏃🏼‍♀️ When Annie reached out to me a few days ago, there was a clear wish in her words: to give herself and her friends a special memory, one last ray of sunshine to take back home. It was their last day in Rome, and their last in Italy.

Together, we chose the perfect way to say goodbye to the city: the Instagram Running Tour. 🏃‍♀️📸✨

We headed through the most iconic and breathtaking spots of the Eternal City—the ones that take your breath away on screen, but live, with running shoes on your feet and the morning light, touch your soul directly. Between one stride and the next, we uncovered ancient stories, secrets, and details, seasoning every kilometer with genuine laughter, jokes, and sheer beauty.

It was one of those mornings that recharges your soul, where movement meets wonder and the right people turn a simple run into an unforgettable memory.

Second round this morning for Hans! 🏃‍♂️✨
Today we had so much fun “running” through the Monti district, a part of Rome that Hans hadn’t had the chance to explore yet.

Along the way, of course, there were plenty of stories, curiosities and historical insights, but also a few tips on museums and churches he could visit later in the afternoon with Susanne.

And then… lots and lots of photos! 📸
We had fun playing with different perspectives, hidden corners and panoramic views, always with one magnificent protagonist following us along the way: His Majesty, the Colosseum. ❤️

I think we can safely say that today we discovered at least 50 shades of the Colosseum! 😄

We ran, chatted, laughed, discovered new corners of Rome and looked at the Eternal City from so many different perspectives.

It was such a fun morning.

And I couldn’t help thinking: who wouldn’t love working like this? 🏃‍♀️🏛️❤️

Joining me was Alessandra Di Bartolomeo who led the fitwalking group, while I guided the running tour. Two different paces, but the same way of experiencing Rome: moving, observing, listening, and discovering everything around us. 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♀️

Our destination was Monte Mario, one of the most beautiful panoramic viewpoints in the city. At around 139 meters above sea level, it is the highest hill in Rome’s historic urban area and has been a privileged vantage point over the city for centuries.

During the Middle Ages, it was also known as Mons Gaudii, the “Hill of Joy”: for pilgrims arriving in Rome along the Via Francigena, reaching this hill meant finally being able to catch sight of the destination of their long journey.

And this morning, standing in front of that view, it was easy to understand at least a little of that sense of wonder.

Watching the sunrise from Monte Mario was simply priceless. 🌅❤️

The light changing minute by minute, Rome still quiet beneath us, the fresh morning air, and that special feeling that only the earliest hours of the day can give you.

It was a wonderful morning filled with movement, history, beautiful views, smiles, and shared moments.

And this is exactly what I love about ArcheoRunning: it’s not simply about running or walking through Rome, but about experiencing its landscape, moving through its history, and discovering the city from ever-changing perspectives.

Because some mornings, you don’t simply visit Rome.
