Our MYP students had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of Dallara, a world-renowned leader in automotive engineering and motorsport, taking part in an immersive experience that marked the culmination of a journey that began months ago through the STEM Racing (F1 in Schools) project.

Thanks to Dallara’s invaluable support, our students worked as true multidisciplinary teams, applying skills in design, problem-solving, aerodynamics, communication, and collaboration, transforming classroom learning into a concrete and highly innovative project.

We are particularly proud to be the first middle school in Italy to undertake a STEM Racing experience of this scale, providing our students with the opportunity to engage with one of the world's most prestigious educational competitions.

The visit to Dallara allowed students to see firsthand how research, technology, creativity, and teamwork come together to drive real innovation, inspiring the next generation of engineers, designers, and innovators.

A heartfelt thank you to Dallara for sharing its expertise, passion, and vision with our students, helping to make this journey an extraordinary experience of growth, discovery, and inspiration.

Creativity, expression and imagination at work!

Today our learners continued developing their Book of Artist projects, each following a unique and personal creative journey.

Some students added new details and visual layers, others enriched their pages with threads and fabrics, while some explored poetic writing or carefully focused on the bookbinding process.

Page after page, every book is becoming a meaningful reflection of the learner behind it a celebration of creativity, individuality and thoughtful craftsmanship.

At International School Rimini, we believe that artistic expression helps children develop confidence, curiosity and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. ✨

A day of discovery, learning and environmental awareness!

Our learners had the wonderful opportunity to visit a turtle rescue centre, deepening their understanding of turtles and tortoises through a truly meaningful experience.

The children enthusiastically shared their prior knowledge, asked thoughtful questions and discovered fascinating new facts about these incredible animals. The highlight of the visit was meeting the turtles being cared for at the centre, learning their stories and understanding why they had been admitted to the hospital.

Experiences like these help students connect classroom learning with the real world, fostering curiosity, empathy and a deeper appreciation for wildlife and conservation. 💙✨

Learning through exploration, curiosity and discovery at International School Rimini.

Our RK learners explored the concept of mass using balance scales and a variety of natural materials, including pine cones, stones, feathers and sticks.

After a collaborative whole-class activity, the children continued their investigations independently and in small groups, making predictions, comparing weights and discovering what it means for objects to be heavier or lighter.

Through hands-on experiences like these, students develop early mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills and scientific curiosity in a meaningful and engaging way. ✨

Nature, creativity and discovery came together in our RK classroom at International School Rimini 🌿🎨

Using flowers and leaves from Ms Natalie’s garden, our students explored the traditional Japanese tataki-zomé technique, carefully arranging petals and leaves on fabric before gently hammering them to transfer their natural colours.

A beautiful hands-on experience that allowed children to connect with nature through art, curiosity and creativity. ✨

Learning through experience at International School Rimini!

Today our Primary - Transition & G1 students enjoyed a special visit from the Local Police, turning learning into an engaging and hands-on experience.

Students had the opportunity to take part in an interactive road safety activity, following a route with traffic signs set up in the school garden and discovering the importance of road rules in a fun and practical way.

One of the most exciting moments of the day was exploring the police car up close, seeing the sirens and flashing lights, and learning more about the important role police officers play within our community. 🚨

Experiences like these help students learn through curiosity, exploration, and direct participation, making learning both meaningful and memorable. ✨

✨ Celebrating our PYP Exhibition ✨

On Wednesday, May 20th, our school community experienced one of the most meaningful milestones of the IB Primary Years Programme: the PYP Exhibition.

This culminating experience represents an important stage of the PYP journey, providing students with the opportunity to share the passions, ideas, knowledge, and skills they have developed throughout their learning journey.

Over the past few months, our Year 5 students have worked with great dedication, curiosity, and enthusiasm, developing projects that reflect personal growth, critical thinking, and the ability to observe and explore the world with awareness and purpose.

It was a special moment to celebrate our students’ journey and recognize not only the achievements they reached, but also the process of inquiry, collaboration, and discovery that guided them throughout these months.

Congratulations to our students for their commitment, passion, and the outstanding work they shared with our entire school community. 🌍📚✨

In International School Rimini, education goes beyond the classroom. It grows through meaningful experiences, strong relationships and a community that values every student for who they are.

Our International Day was more than a celebration it was a reflection of our school spirit: diversity as a strength, families actively supporting school life and students encouraged to express their identity, culture and uniqueness with confidence.

A special thank you to our PAC representatives, class representatives and all the families whose support and involvement continue to make our community such a welcoming and inspiring place to grow.

Because international education is not only about learning about the world it is about feeling part of it.

During our recent visit to the ITTS science laboratories, students had the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of scientific experimentation and discovery. They were introduced to a range of specialised measuring instruments used in chemistry laboratories, gaining a deeper understanding of their functions and importance in scientific analysis.

The experience also allowed students to observe different laboratory procedures and equipment in action, including distillation apparatus and a live titration demonstration. Through these hands-on observations, students were able to connect scientific theory with real-life applications, further developing their curiosity and understanding of practical science.
