Field research and training provide a wealth of satisfaction, but perhaps the greatest gift this year was welcoming part of the Olduvai team to the Italian Ambassador's Residence in Dar es Salaam.
It was a beautiful evening, in which we celebrated 15 years of collaboration between Italy and Tanzania in paleosciences.
Thanks to the authorities who participated representing the major scientific institutions of the country (Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Antiquities Division, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, National Museum of Tanzania, UNESCO, University of Dodoma, University of Dar es Salaam) and to all the other guests.
Thanks to his Excellency the Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Coppola, his family and the Embassy staff!
It was unforgettable!
