Sei anni fa ho ottenuto la qualifica come Guida Ambientale Escursionistica (G*E), un percorso teorico e pratico che mi permette oggi di accompagnare gruppi in esterno a 360°.
Dalla teoria (sì, la mia tesina era sui lupi! 🐺) alla pratica tra i nostri sentieri, la gioia più grande resta farvi vivere la natura in totale sicurezza e relax.

What exactly is Ferragosto?” 🇮🇹
For Italians, it’s not just a holiday.
It’s a tradition. A day to celebrate! ☀️
Ferragosto comes from the Roman Feriae Augusti, a period of festivities established by Emperor Augustus in 18 B.C.
In the 6th century, August 15th became a Christian holiday celebrating the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
And if you’re in Parma, you can see one of the most spectacular artistic representations of the Assumption in the magnificent dome frescoed by Correggio in the Cathedral. 🎨
But modern Italian Ferragosto has evolved into something very different:
☀️ The heart of summer
🏖️ Going somewhere — the seaside, the mountains, the countryside or a lake
🍝 Eating and drinking together — long lunches, barbecues, picnics…
👨👩👧👦 Being with family and friends
🌊 The beach tradition — including the famous secchiate d’acqua, buckets of water thrown at people! 😂
🚪 “Chiuso per ferie” — Ferragosto is almost a symbol of Italy taking a break for the summer.
🎆 Fireworks and evening celebrations
For Italians, Ferragosto is simply summer at its fullest. 🇮🇹☀️

Qualche anno fa una giornalista mi descrisse con un’espressione che mi è rimasta nel ❤️: “Roberta Gasparini è una guida turistica e ha il dono della leggerezza”.
Leggerezza per me significa raccontare arte, storia e tradizioni con passione e semplicità, voglio che le persone si sentano a proprio agio.
La missione che mi pongo ogni volta che accompagno un gruppo è semplice : “fare stare bene le persone“ che mi hanno scelto tra la moltitudine di possibilità e attività che oggi esistono!
Se hai partecipato a uno dei miei tour, mi piacerebbe chiederti: c’è un ricordo che ti è rimasto nel cuore?
C’è stato un momento, un luogo, una storia o un sorriso che ricordi ancora?

Qualche anno fa un giornalista mi descrisse con un’espressione che mi è rimasta nel cuore: “il dono della leggerezza”.
Non l’avevo mai vista in questo modo, ma forse è davvero ciò che cerco di fare ogni giorno: raccontare Parma con passione, far sentire le persone a casa e trasformare una visita in un ricordo.
Rileggere quell’intervista oggi mi ha fatto sorridere. Perché, nonostante il tempo sia passato, l’entusiasmo è rimasto lo stesso.
Grazie a tutti coloro che hanno scelto e continuano a scegliere di scoprire Parma insieme a me. ❤️

Thank you Kevin & Margot 💛
This morning I had the joy of welcoming Kevin back — all the way from New Jersey. Four years ago he joined one of my tours… and he never really left.
He kept following along on Instagram, and when he returned to Italy he wrote me:
“Roberta, I want to do that tour again!”
And so we did ✨
A beautiful day together between Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, and a slow, traditional lunch in a local trattoria.
But I didn’t just repeat the same experience.
Because here, no two days are ever the same. Different dairies, different stories, different people. And this time, we added something truly special: the opening of a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano — a moment they absolutely loved.
This is what I love most about my job.
People come back. Connections grow. Friendships are born. And through food, stories, and traditions, we share a piece of this land… and of ourselves.
Kevin, Margot and husband it was such a pleasure to see you again. Thank you for choosing Parma once more with me ❤️🇮🇹
