Immediately after the second movie, I've made the pencil sketch for this idea I had for this scene, a prediction I made in case Amy doesn't appear in Sonic 3.
I asked myself "But wait... If Amy doesn't appear... Who's gonna make Shadow remember Maria's true words?"

I think that having the same girl that gave Sonic his iconic shoes in the first movie be the one that reminds Shadow of THAT other girl and help him move forward as well would be a terrific way to neatly close the circle.

After the sketch, I procrastinated… until today... So for 2 years!?

Well, we'll see if I'll be right!
