This time, the Beet Family headed west of Palermo to explore the coast around Terrasini: swimming in the clear waters of Grotta delle Colombe, taking in the views from Cala Rossa and Torre Alba, wandering through town and, of course, making time for a gelato. 🍦

A week of living like true locals. 🩷💚

We worked, kept up our routine with functional fitness and yoga, and somewhere between calls our little turtle friends stopped by to say hello. 🐢

We enjoyed lunch at a traditional Sicilian osteria, spent a day at a wild beach just like the locals do, shared our weekly Thursday Potluck, and joined the Palermo Pride parade over the weekend.

To wrap it all up? Sunset from Monte Pellegrino and a craft beer in Piazza Politeama.
