Ideato e realizzato da 5 affermati musicisti professionisti, attivi da anni con altri progetti paralleli nei circuiti live e studio italiani (Bersani, Raf, Pacifico, Panceri, Neja, Camerini, Tozzi, Rossovivo), PASSING STRANGERS mette da parte momentaneamente il proprio repertorio pop/rock internazionale e omaggia, con il live show denominato From Misplaced To Clutching, la celebre band britannica MARILLION, con preciso riferimento al periodo artistico 1985 - 1987, caratterizzato dalla presenza vocale e scenica di FISH e culminato con il successo discografico mondiale degli ultimi 2 album in studio Misplaced Childhood, Clutching at Straws e del live ufficiale The Thieving Magpie. Un viaggio nel tempo, elegante, avvolgente, incalzante, studiato anche per le sale teatrali e affini, che, intercettando la riscoperta del genere Progressive Rock da parte delle nuove generazioni, permette di riascoltare, con assoluto coinvolgimento, quelle che sono considerate autentiche ed imprescindibili pietre miliari nell'evoluzione del genere stesso, lungo il percorso che porta dai Genesis dell'era Gabriel ai nostri giorni: Kayleigh, Lavender, Childhood's End, White Russian, Incommunicado, The Last Straw vengono proposte, tra le altre, per incorniciare musicalmente quegli anni che hanno regalato grandi emozioni ai fans dei MARILLION, ma non solo, in tutto il mondo. La scaletta prevede anche l’esecuzione di alcuni gioiellini estrapolati dal repertorio storico dei MARILLION, quali: Assassing, Punch & Judy, Garden Party, Market Square Heroes…oltre ad una suggestiva versione live – appositamente arrangiata - dell’overture della Gazza Ladra di Rossini.

Conceived and created by five established Italian professional musicians, who have been active for years with other parallel projects in the live and studio circuits, PASSING STRANGERS temporarily sets aside its international pop/rock repertoire and pays tribute, with the live show called From Misplaced To Clutching, to the famous British band MARILLION, with specific reference to the artistic period 1985 - 1987, characterized by the vocal and stage presence of FISH and culminating in the worldwide success of the last two studio albums Misplaced Childhood, Clutching at Straws, and the official live album The Thieving Magpie. An elegant, captivating, and compelling journey through time, designed for theaters and similar venues, which, tapping into the rediscovery of progressive rock by new generations, allows listeners to rediscover, with absolute involvement, what are considered authentic and essential milestones in the evolution of the genre itself, along the path that leads from Genesis in the Gabriel era to the present day: Kayleigh, Lavender, Childhood's End, White Russian, Incommunicado, and The Last Straw are among the songs performed, musically framing those years that brought great excitement to MARILLION fans, and others, around the world. The set list also includes some gems from MARILLION's historical repertoire, such as: Assassing, Punch & Judy, Garden Party, Market Square Heroes... as well as a striking live version—specially arranged—of the overture of Rossini's La Gazza Ladra.
