This beautiful hall was built as a replace for another hall of the Golestan Palace called Talar e Bolour (Crystal Hall) by the order of Nasser ol Din Shah.

Talar e Adj (Ivory Hall) is an extensive hall designed to be used as a loyal dining room. The decoration consists of vintage presents from European merchants to show their respect and appreciation to the hospitality of Nasser ol Din Shah.
