Meet the Asian stubtail ! 🐦

It is a tiny, round-bodied bush‑warbler about 9.5–10.5 cm long, weighing 8–10 g. It breeds in northeastern Asia (Korea, Manchuria, Japan), migrates and winters in southern China and northern Southeast Asia, including Taiwan, Nepal, and the Philippines.

Photographed in Karimganj, Assam, India, this bird is also known as Urosphena squameiceps.
