FDA is a Not-For-Profit development organization registered on 19th June 2008, under societies regis

FDA was established in the year 2008 by professionals representing various school of thoughts. Intense discussions and debates were held at various locations among members of Director Board to design its shape and way forward. The Think-Tank of the organisation finally concluded to FOCUS on select area of intervention on a long run. Perfectionism, concreteness, in-depth knowledge, and authoritativeness are its driving force.

Partnered with the Department of Sociology, Farook College, Calicut to conduct an orientation programme for students on coastal research in Kadalundi Grama Panchayat, Calicut using the KoboCollect tool, focusing on the impact of climate change on WASH, water-associated diseases, mental health, gender, disability & inclusion, climate-related hazards, and livelihoods under the ENRICH project funded by The Research Council of Norway with technical support from NERSC, Norway. The session aimed at equipping research enumerators with a thorough understanding of the survey tools, data collection methods using KOBOCollect, and field protocols to ensure accurate and consistent data gathering.
