The SEBI(SECURITIES EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA)was established as a non statutory body i.e it had no control over anything but later in 1992,it was declared as autonomous body with statutory powers. It is also known as watch dog because it monitors all misleading activities in the Capital Market.

The Law of demand was propounded by the famous economist Marshall.
And Marshall has also developed a new concept known as Elasticity of demand.
