Hatu peak ~
It is the second highest peak in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is located at an elevation of 3400 m (11,152 ft) above sea level. The peak is surrounded by dense forest of conifers, oaks and maples.

The law you should really know. Government of Himachal Pradesh has started an initiate in Solan and Shimla district regarding the ban on any type of stickers on the vehicle body. According to them, the stickers on the vehicles are considered as the modification in the vehicles. This is a very good initiative taken by the government of Himachal. Applying breaks on VIP culture is good but using the same power in the name of modification is a very big step the Himachal government took. [ 440 more words ]
Motor Vehicle Act In Himachal: STICKERS on the vehicles... - HIMACHAL INSIGHT While it is illegal to write or paste anything on the registered number plate of a vehicle as per Sections 80 (a)/177, Section 50 and 55 of the Motor Vehicle Act, there is no ban on use of stickers on other parts of the vehicle except that the color or design of the vehicle should not be changed.

I've always been so fascinated by the historical stories, and what better way to pass these stories to the next generation than a Song, locally called HARUL. These stories are sung, accompanied by tandi/rasa dance, on many cultural events in our area (Giripar- Sirmaur district.).Though I don't understand these songs fully but fortunately for me, that I have a grandfather who is regarded as an encyclopedia on our historical clan wars, stories of kings/tribal folks, etc, and he explains these stories with much enthusiasm, making stories much better.
