जिले में मानसून की दस्तक का इंतजार और लंबा हो गया है, क्योंकि मौसम विभाग ने एक जुलाई तक भारी या लगातार बारिश की संभावना से इनकार किया है। मंगलवार को दिनभर आसमान में हल्के बादल छाए रहने के बावजूद तेज धूप और उमस ने लोगों को परेशान रखा। इस दौरान जिले में शुष्क मौसम के साथ हवाएं चलती रहीं, जिससे दिन का अधिकतम तापमान 37 डिग्री और न्यूनतम तापमान 26 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार आगामी दिनों में केवल हल्की बूंदाबांदी या छितराई बारिश की ही उम्मीद है, जिससे फिलहाल गर्मी से बड़ी राहत मिलने के आसार नहीं हैं।

राजसमंद में अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर रविवार को जिला प्रशासन एवं आयुर्वेद विभाग की ओर से नौ चौकी पाल पर जिला स्तरीय योगाभ्यास कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलन से हुई। इसके बाद प्रधानमंत्री के संदेश का सीधा प्रसारण किया गया। योग विशेषज्ञ शैलेश चौरड़िया और योग चिकित्सा प्रभारी डॉ. रामकन्या मेनारिया के निर्देशन में योगाभ्यास कराया गया। इसमें विभिन्न योगासन और प्राणायाम का अभ्यास कराया गया।
कार्यक्रम में 2390 योग साधकों ने सामूहिक योग कर स्वस्थ जीवनशैली का संदेश दिया। कार्यक्रम में सांसद महिमा कुमारी मेवाड़, विधायक दीप्ति किरण माहेश्वरी, जिलाध्यक्ष जगदीश पालीवाल, कलेक्टर अरुण कुमार हसीजा, एसपी हेमंत कलाल सहित जनप्रतिनिधि, अधिकारी और बड़ी संख्या में नागरिक मौजूद रहे। सांसद महिमा कुमारी मेवाड़ ने कहा- योग शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य के साथ मानसिक शांति और सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का माध्यम है। उन्होंने नागरिकों से योग को दैनिक जीवन का हिस्सा बनाने का आह्वान किया। विधायक दीप्ति किरण माहेश्वरी ने योग को भारत की प्राचीन धरोहर बताते हुए नियमित योगाभ्यास करने की अपील की।
जिलेभर में संगम पोर्टल पर पंजीकृत 2909 स्थानों पर आयोजित कार्यक्रमों में करीब 86 हजार 600 लोगों ने भाग लिया। उपनिदेशक आयुर्वेद विभाग डॉ. रमेशचंद्र मीणा ने बताया कि पर्यटन स्थलों, ग्राम पंचायतों, ब्लॉक मुख्यालयों और आयुष्मान आरोग्य मंदिरों में भी योग कार्यक्रम हुए। कार्यक्रम के अंत में जिला कलेक्टर अरुण कुमार हसीजा ने योग संकल्प और मतदान शपथ दिलाई। कार्यक्रम में आर.के. मार्बल द्वारा प्रतिभागियों को टी-शर्ट उपलब्ध कराई गई। वहीं स्वयंसेवी संस्था मानस योग साधना, कांकरोली द्वारा योग अभ्यर्थियों को हर्बल पत्तियों से निर्मित स्वास्थ्यवर्धक जूस का वितरण किया गया। कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन में सहायक निदेशक डॉ. गिर्राज शर्मा, डॉ. विनोद शर्मा, डॉ. विनोद सैनी, डॉ. राहुल महात्मा सहित आयुर्वेद विभाग के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों का विशेष सहयोग रहा। कार्यक्रम का संचालन हिमांशु पालीवाल ने किया।
