“Apni Rasoi” is an initiative started by a MBA graduate who strives to ensure that Punekars enjoy their daily meals. Working in corporate for months, one thing that we felt missing was good healthy food. Bored of eating canteen’s unhygienic food or ordering from restaurants which used to be oily, spicy and big on one’s pocket, it prompted us to come up with an idea of supplying healthy & delicious
home liked food. The elegant and unique “Apni Rasoi” Indian Cuisine Restaurant is established with one simple aim ‘To serve authentic, nutritious and Home liked Indian cooking, just like Indian mums would make’. Our Philosophy says 'Indian Mums make nutritious dishes, with robust flavors and rustic undertones. At “Apni Rasoi”, we serve similar cuisine but we ensure that the flavors are well-balanced and that the presentation is contemporary. We believe that food should not only please the palate but also the eyes.'
Subsequently, “Apni Rasoi” mission took shape - to prove that Indian cuisine can be as subtle and finely balanced as any of the world's greatest cuisines.
'We chose the name “Apni rasoi”, which by name tells about our moto of serving food with warmth and love. Our menu, which changes frequently, does have some traditional favorites but our emphasis is on unique, rare and treasured recipes, gleaned from royal households of India, not from commercial Indian kitchens.' The menu, at Apni rasoi, comes in a variety of mouth-watering cuisines and nutritional options- a judicious mix of carbohydrates and proteins, low calorie content and no artificial flavours/preservatives
Apni rasoi has tasty home cooked food which is a good escape route when you don't want to cook or the cook doesn't show up.
