On the occasion of World Su***de Prevention Day — 10 September, Formative Learning Foundation had the opportunity to facilitate a meaningful session on “Loneliness” for individuals at Niramay De-addiction rehabilitation centre in Pune.

The session explored what loneliness is and ways to overcome it through storytelling, which opened a platform for participants to pause, reflect and share their views. It also included activities for self-reflection, followed by a short meditation and gratitude practice. Participants felt connected and were able to release a lot of emotions during the session.

The enthusiastic participation, openness and interaction of the participants made the session deeply meaningful. Their willingness to engage in conversations and activities reminded us that sometimes, creating a safe space to listen and be heard can be an important step towards seeking support.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pooja Kolambe for thoughtfully conducting the session and contributing her time and experience towards this initiative.

We are also grateful to Team Niramay for their support and providing an environment where these important conversations could take place.

At Formative Learning Foundation, we believe that mental and emotional well-being is strengthened when individuals know they do not have to face their struggles alone.

🌱 Strengthening Early Childhood Development in Purandar! 🌱

Formative Learning Foundation (FLF) successfully conducted a 3-day PBPB (_Padhai Bhi, Poshan Bhi)_ training on 17, 18 & 19 November 2025 at Kothale, Purandar Block, Pune District.

A total of 250 Anganwadi Sevikas enthusiastically participated in this capacity-building workshop aimed at enriching early childhood learning experiences in Anganwadi Centres.

This training was expertly facilitated by
👩‍🏫 Ms. Sandhya Khamkar, Director, Formative Learning Foundation,
along with the dedicated leadership of
👨‍💼 Mr. Anil Kamble, CDPO, Purandar,
and the committed team of ICDS Supervisors.

The sessions focused on:
🔹 Play-based learning methods
🔹 Creating child-friendly and engaging classroom environments
🔹 Strengthening foundational learning in the early years
🔹 Practical demonstrations for effective implementation

A big thank you to all the Sevikas for their active participation, energy, and commitment to making early childhood education joyful and meaningful for every child. 🌈✨
