Fronius India has inaugurated a Special Welding Training Program for “Women in Welding” under the FACT initiative at its headquarters in Pune, aimed at enhancing technical skills and industry readiness among women engineering students.

The program brings together 24 selected participants from leading institutions across India, such as Easwari Engineering College(SRM Group), Chennai Institute of Technology, SJCE CSE, O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) and Uma Charan Patnaik Engineering School Berhampur (UCPES), offering hands-on training designed to build strong foundational and advanced welding competencies. The initiative reflects Fronius India’s commitment to empowering women in technical careers and strengthening workforce diversity in the welding industry.

Through focused skill development and industry exposure, the program aims to prepare participants for real-world applications and future opportunities in manufacturing and engineering sectors.
