One of my favourite things about cold brewing tea is that there really are no rigid rules.

The way I make mine is simply a starting point. Adjust the leaves, the steeping time, and the additions to suit your taste. Add fruit if you’d like. A sprig of mint. A splash of sparkling water. Or nothing at all.

Tea isn’t about perfection. It’s about discovering what delights you.

Trust your palate. Experiment often. Let each brew teach you something new. ✨🍃

If you’d like the exact proportions I used in this reel, send us a DM.

Tea can be a beautiful way to slow down and reconnect with yourself for a few moments.

As you sit with your tea feel your breath, listen to the sounds around you and take slow mindful sips. Allow yourself to settle into the warmth, the aroma and the stillness of the moment.

Each tea sitting feels different and every experience is welcome. The heart of the practice is coming into presence and creating a gentle pause in your day one sip at a time.

How do you usually slow down at the end of a day?

Introducing Yutori, a space to connect over tea.

Every month we will hold gatherings of a small group of people to connect over tea - in presence, in silence and through sharing.

Our aim is to cultivate a sense of slowing down while also building a sense of community around tea.

We’ve named this experience Yutori, being inspired by the Japanese word of spaciousness — having enough time and peace of mind to enjoy life without constantly being under pressure.

If this feels like something you’d like to be a part of, DM us to join an upcoming Yutori session.

Hope you have a spacious week 🍵

Sitting with tea reveals something new each time 🍃

Lately it’s been teaching me how to listen.
Through sensations. Through feelings.
To notice all that it unfurls in the most gentle way.

Here’s a gentle reminder as you sit with your cup of tea today, to offer it your full presence and allow yourself to simply be.

A letter to tea 🍵

My dear tea,

I return to you often, though I seldom think to ask why.

There is a way in which you meet me that feels both tender and exact. I move through my days dispersed, given over to thought, to motion, to all that draws me away from myself. And then, quite simply, I take you into my hands, and something within me begins to come back into place.

It is not a change that announces itself. Only a quiet settling. A soft awareness of breath, of warmth, of being here in a way that feels deeply lived rather than merely known.

You ask nothing, and perhaps that is your greatest offering. In your presence, there is no need to reach, no need to become. What I feel is not heightened, nor altered, but revealed with a certain clarity. As though, for a moment, nothing stands between me and the simple truth of being.

There is a depth to you that does not seek to be understood, only received. And in receiving, I find a kind of ease that feels both rare and entirely familiar. A closeness to myself that requires no effort, no intention, only a willingness to remain.

I think this is why I am drawn to you, time and again. Not out of habit, but out of a quiet recognition. You do not take me anywhere. You return me.

And in that return, I am reminded, gently and without insistence, that there is nowhere else I need to be.

Yours,
In presence

A little Q&A with our founder 🌸

Watching the leaves unfurl and softly bring the most beautiful golden liquor to life is like watching poetry in motion. The subtle movements, the dancing of the leaves, the infusion of the perfect shade of golden. Have you ever noticed the leaves gently unfurl and take form. The soft whiff of the aroma rising. The tea leaves tell you a story of their own. Most times they bring about a sense of awe, wonderment and curiosity.

As you sit with your tea this afternoon, take a moment to listen, observe and feel the wonders of the universe all in your teapot.

Happy sipping 🌱✨

Sit with your tea, pause, the art of sitting with tea, tea meditation, tea mood, tea lovers
