******** तुम पुत्र नहीं हो -- दूर रहो *******
माँ की कोख़ में पहली सांस और वो पहला पट इस धरती का
राह छवाते पिता खड़े और मन में सूर्य वो सर्दी का
निर्मल निश्छल भाव लिए हम उसी पल थे ऋणी हुए
आखरी पट तक सर्वस्व लुटा कर खुश रखने के प्रण लिए
जीवन के उतार चढ़ाव में - कभी उनके कंधे , कभी मेरे कंधे
तब कहाँ थे मौसा - मामा ?

वो आखरी साँसे पिता की - दर्द के भूकंप सी
वो मेरी गोद - वो मेरी बाहें और हर कोशिश उन्हें बचाने की
वो आखों से निकलते हुए प्राण , कुछ चाह थी उन्हें बताने की
"बेटू ! माँ को सिर माथे रखना " शायद यही इच्छा दर्शानी थी
उनके जाने की वो खबर - बार बार कहते बनती क्या ?
"हमे खबर मिली क्यों बाहर से ?" - ये हमसे बोले मौसा मामा।

जब हालत बिगड़ी , सबसे पूछा, पर सबकी अपनी मजबूरी थी
कूद पड़े संग्राम में हम - वो लड़ाई - आडम्बर नहीं ज़रूरी थी
हमने कुछ जुदा किया नहीं - हर संतान को करते देखा था
यही वो ऋण था कंधों पर जो पिता का आखरी लेखा था
भगवान् नहीं इंसान ही थे हम ,लाचार खुद को कभी पाते थे
पर हौसलों को साथ लिए हम यम से भी लड़ जाते थे
तब कहाँ थे मौसा - मामा ?

तुम पुत्र नहीं हो -- दूर रहो - सांसारिक नियम है सर्वोपरि
मेरे हाथों से कलश छीनने वालो, तुम्हे किसने वो अधिकार दिए ?
जब नौकरी छोड़ रहे थे हम, क्यों नहीं शर्तें तब बाँधी थीं
जब एक एक prescription लिखवाने को Covid की लाशें लाँधी थीं
यम के द्वार खड़े हो कर एकाकी ही, उनसे अपनी माँ माँगी थी
तब कहाँ थे मौसा - मामा ?

अहसास कराने तब आये उस निर्जीव सी काया को
जब पास हम ही न थे उनके , सब बड़े कर्ता धर्ता बने
तेरी माँ ने पुत्र है नहीं जना - आखरी पट तेरा साथ मना
खुली आँखे , खुला मुँह , आधे कपड़ों में आखरी सफ़र
जिस पिता की पटरानी थी वो , कैसी उसकी यात्रा रही
तुम पुत्र नहीं हो -- दूर रहो , बता गए हमे मौसा - मामा।
