A new door to discovery through Science at UMS Khakripara!
On 28 September 2026, a Mini Science Centre Lab was inaugurated at UMS Khakripara School, Jamshedpur, with the support of Jojobera and ALIG Society.

The lab houses around 90 STEM models, along with DIY models that let students Learn, Explore, Experiment and Create, taking science beyond the textbook through hands-on activities.

This initiative will benefit 250 children, most of whom are first-generation learners. By making science interactive and fun, the lab aims to spark their excitement for learning and build their confidence to explore, question and discover.
We thank Tata Power Jojobera for partnering with us to nurture scientific curiosity in young minds.

🔭 Learning Beyond the Classroom!

As part of the Support a School Program, ALIG Educational & Welfare Society, with support from Shalimar, organized an educational exposure visit for 100 students from three government schools in Lucknow to the Indira Gandhi Planetarium and Shaheed Smarak.

From mastering their first stitch to creating beautiful Chikankari motifs, every creation reflects patience, creativity and determination. 🧵

Celebrating Independence Day with Creativity & Talent!

This 15th August, we celebrated the spirit of freedom, creativity and learning by organizing exciting competitions for our students.

MS Word Design Competition – Students showcased their creativity and MS Word design skills through innovative digital designs.

Eye Makeup Competition – Students demonstrated their creativity, precision and eye makeup skills.

Embroidery & Bag Stitching Competition – Students showcased their embroidery techniques and stitching skills.

Celebrating Talent & Achievement
The winners and outstanding performers were felicitated with prizes and certificates to appreciate their hard work, creativity, and dedication.

These activities encouraged students to express themselves, build confidence, and transform their skills into opportunities for the future.
