'It's going to be Wild', said the path..
'Let's meet the Soul', I confessed..

This looks like a beautiful oil painting I once made..In awe of how this shot has turned out..

The captivating Indian Roller or Blue Jay and also known as 'Neelkanth'. This beautiful bird has a mesmerizing sky blue colored tail with a hint of Prussian blue color. The feathers towards the centre have a dull green tint. Its throat and neck is noted to be purplish lilac in color with dash of white streaks.

These prey birds are known for their significant aerobatic displays which it performs during the breeding season. It flies high up in the sky and descends downwards in a circular motion, flapping its winds rapidly producing harsh chack sounds.

It's a State bird of many Indian states like Karnataka, Odisha & Telangana and is considered to be a sacred bird in Hindu mythology. It is associated with Lord Shiva and is a protected species.
