gh School. The school was set up for the financially weaker sections which soon earned the title "ABODE OF WELFARE" or "PEOPLE'S SCHOOL". During his tenure as the correspondent of the school, Sree Balaji High school's growth was phenomenal. It's not an exaggeration to say that the BALAJI SCHOOL was the undisputable educational institute and a house hold name in the locality. Murthy's relentless efforts,dedication and creativity to bring about changes in the educational patterns always helped the school to achieve and stay at numero uno position for over 35 years. Today even after his death the school is striving harder than ever to reach newer heights under the guidance of the school secretary Mr. Durga Prasad Vadlamoodi and the school correspondent Mr.M.Sudesh. This can be best quoted as "MAN IS MORTAL BUT HIS VISION IS IMMORTAL". During his last stage, he struggled a lot to cope with his ever failing health but his grit and uncompromising quality made him fight against all odds.The fact that was the top ranked educational institute in the area,speaks volumes about his commitment and administrative genius. Today, as a tribute to this great human being , a charitable organisation in his name-VSR MURTHY FOUNDATION, a non-profit organisation renders a wide range of wefare activities ranging from providing clothing to the poor and needy, free distribution of note books to the under privileged students not just from our school but also from various other institutions, providing financial support to all eligible students in the form of concessions, scolarships, conducting medical camps and the biggest among these welfare measures is conducting eye surgeries to the poverty stricken patients at free of cost! It is indeed an awe-struck to find the number of beneficiaries of this charitable organisation. we pray to God for his peaceful soul. His name still continues to inspire us.He rightly deserves the title "The father of Sree Balaji High School". Lastly let us take a pledge to uphold the honour of the school and let the name of Sree Balaji High School reach greater horizons. To make this happen, we all should study and work harder than ever to fulfill the Great man's vision.
